  • the voice off makes this worthless

  • Too funny and so true. This is no different than people that spend countless hours polishing their 4 wheel drive trucks only to drive them around town on a Saturday night. Keep exploring & finding cool places, and don't worry about scratching your bike (or truck)!! ;)

  • obnoxious

  • I enjoyed your other videos, but this was just annoying.

  • And for 1/3rd the price of a GS, I'll stick with a Strom!.............or maybe two!

  • @spypiece me too. The BMW is a great bike but.... More expensive to buy, more expensive to insure, more expensive to fix, more expensive to service. And the V will go all the places the GS can and maybe more being lighter and more nimble. I never get the BMW guys, think their poop don't stink. Get over it

  • @will7111730 The Strom has lower ground clearance which can cause problems when things get rough.

  • hehehe ROCK ON!

  • DUDE THATS FUNNY! THANKS FOR SPEAKING ALL OF OUR TRUE FEELINGS

  • got issues with you´re mother? looks like a nice trip anyway.

  • pussies, i dont plan comming home.

  • This is funny.....Im still laughing...Ha! Oh no! I think I got mud on my boot! Ha!

  • UltraSWG- if I had the money I'd go with a KTM 990 adventure but, the 1200 GS is a nice bike too. I'd much rather have a KLR 650 that I'm not afraid to take out in the woods & ride like I stole it. I'd be putting around on a twenty thousand dollar bike afraid I'd scratch it. Some guys ride to ride & some guys ride to be seen.

  • toyota and honda is better than a bmw.go to your mama...xaxaxaxxaxaxaxa

  • Yeah and maybe if I trade this in for a Toyota motorcycle, it will go really fast then not be able to stop.

  • I favourited this video. Fucking loved it. Sub'd as well man, fucking class! Love to see more ;D

  • LOL, thanks for speaking your mind.

  • This is funny! I like the mommy part. I love to explore unknown roads in my area north eastern calif. over 2000 miles last summer on my klr fully farkeled GPS are not all there cracked up to be all roads go some where as long as you know the general direction its more fun without. this is one of the best places to ride in any direction and never see another soul i love it Happy TRAILS.

  • Its quite stupid to go with a 200kgrs bike into the mud without proper tyres....

What is shown in the video is piece of cake compared to a real dirty trail-enduro ride.

  • I use a road like this when I visit my parent farm, didn't seem all that nasty. Nice but. some of our roads look like this through the main CBD. Ha ha ha.

  • Haha! I bought a 1981 Yamaha SR250 street bike at a garage sale for $75.00, put a battery in it and rode thru the fire roads in Manistee MI. that look close to that trail...., What a blast!

  • What a joke! That trail doesn't even look tough.

  • YOU don't even look tough!

  • I don't get why you always talk about BMW's most expensive Adventure Touring machine.

BMW makes bikes that cost half the price of a GSA and are much better suited for off road.

And you seem to think financing 20 grand is a big deal. How much do people spend on cars these days? Alot more than that.

Payments on a GSA with 5 grand worth of "stuff" is about 400 a month. Big deal.

  • @UltraSWG Are you for real? 20 grand is a shit load of money to most people. I wish I had your money mate.

  • Most people own cars that cost well over 20 grand and those are just toyotas and hondas, not BMW's.

$300 a month payments to most people I know is pretty insignificant for such a great machine, so sorry, I really can't empathize.

  • @UltraSWG But thats just it. Most people dont have that sort of money laying about and need to take out a loan/hire purchase for it. Hence they dont have that sort of money laying about and need years to pay it off. I would never buy something on a loan except for maybe a house. Its people like that who have the worlds economy the way it is now.

  • You are wrong on so many levels. MOST people in MY country can swing 300 a month no problem because MOST households make over 40K a year in my country. Median household income in my country is 46K. Sorry if you live in some poverty stricken country.

And it's not people who financed motorcycles who caused the economic crisis. That's such a ridiculous statement.

If you can't afford a GS1200, sorry. But saying a Vstrom is just as good or better is just WRONG.

  • @UltraSWG Theres no talking to you because no matter what I say you think your right. Your clearly wealthier than most people. BTW you live in the USA where 2% of the population controls 80% of the wealth so even if the median (which I'll take your word for it is) is high you have to consider that its a distorted figure. Us lesser more common beings should take this mans advise and buy a V-Strom and spend the rest on the trip itself. Thats what I will be doing.

  • The 1200GS is one of the best selling bikes in Europe. So it's not just us Americans who can afford it.

Sorry you're so poverty stricken that you can't spend alot of money on a bike, but that isn't BMW's fault, it's yours.

  • @UltraSWG Personally I can afford one but wouldnt want one when I can spend 3 grand on a V Strom and be just as happy. Secondly, of the five people I know who have one, 3 have taken out personal loans for them, 1 got a great deal on it and was able to afford it straight up and the other inherited it from his rich grandad. Anyway, lets agree to disagree. Keep safe, Simon.

  • You guys should check out my video titled "Worlds Most Powerful Dual Sport Motorcycle" Seems like a better place for this argument.

  • My thoughts exactly, i am still using the money i didn't use to buy something larger and now going around other countries with that money!

Not all GSA riders are the same, i have friends that really use their bikes (GSA) in all conditions and surfaces but some use it to go to the cafe.

  • I thought about the GSA, but didn't want all the extra stuff on it. I went for the regular GS so I could outfit it the way I wanted.

But I am bitter about how much all that crap costs. Skid plate for a BMW $400 for a KLR $100. Both are aluminum both protect the bottom of the bike. But the manufacture knows that BMW guys paid a lot for a bike so they can charge them a lot for the parts. But a piece of metal should cost what a piece of metal costs.

  • @halfthrottle - I have my protective stuff made by local mechanics... pretty much don't care if it make my F650GS look 'cheap' but it puts cash in the hands of locals instead of overcharging, overseas companies, and I get the kit I want...

Oh, and I put my bike down all the time and don't call anybody... usually off the grid near Burma or Laos...

  • Worthless commentary. Pretty hardcore trails......if only I could be dumb enough to have Mountain Dew explode in my topbox.....would my GS be cool then?

Someone's awfully bitter they couldn't afford that BMW GSA they wanted it seems.

  • Nice puddles.

  • What software did you use to edit the video? What camera did you use?

    Thanks brother.

  • I did this with iMovie '09. And my camera is a Panasonic PV-GS80 (Cheapest Camera Money Can Buy). Watch my movie Skyline Drive to see it get covered with mud and water, but it's still working!

  • Great production value and footage, but the commentary was kinda lame on this one. Better to keep it up beat. =)

  • Hmmmm Maybe I should take this down and redo the narration. I thought the "Mama" stuff was funny. But this does have less views than my other GS vs. V-Strom vid's.

  • You have some ma-ma complex or wha'? ;)
