  • Channel lends itself to being welded from below without the need for nice-looking welds to posts - but it sure isn't comfortable as a handrail. Also - what happened to the 'spiral' here? Looks like a section of a circle.

I came through here hoping to see some examples of 'programming' or whatever inputs are made to these machines...nothing so far.

  • Do not try to roll sections like C chanells, Angles or any other not-symetrical profiles. Sqares, rounds are perfect. With flatbars you will have problem if flatbar will be to wide ( 50x10mm are already to wide for narrow radius like 900-1000mm ).

With boxes or tubes they will get squized. You can get Mandrill CNC bender to do that job for you. Very fancy ones would be a brass rope handraill attached do stroing ( stiff ) balustrade - don't forget that usually handraill is structural element.

  • @Lukaszandzel I agree

  • That is sooo old school . I have a machine that curves and twists at the same time. oh by the way channel is not the way to go with any rail . its either tubular or flatbar

  • try taking the text off of the video so we can actualy see whats going on

  • beautiful.

  • Shitty channel crap feels awful to the touch.

In my country, it is solid wood and the feel of beauty and warmth.

  • Dude that is so WRONG. go back to school.

  • finally a guy who actually looks like he works and actually knows what hes doing.

  • wouldn't a two inch round tube feel better to the hands?

  • 2" round tube would be better!

  • I'm not sure why he chose channel iron. Perhaps it's just cheaper.
