Absolutely love this song....! my husband is on our first deployment in Iraq for 11 mos. now and due back next month...;-) Exactly my life now...aswell as our 2 yr old son saying he wants to be like daddy in the army...! sigh Love this song...it makes me feel so much more proud...!
when my husband first signed up for the army i didnt realize how strong id really have to be. it is so much harder than i anticipated and my heart breaks every day he's not with me and our kids. but i try to remind myself to keep my head held high and pray that he comes home safe and soon. thank you to all our troops and god bless
Just when I think things are getting easier, I realize that is just what I am making myself think. It is so very difficult without my husband here and I would do anything to guarantee his safe return. Prayer is key and I pray for him nonstop. I love you David Moore. xoxoxo COME HOME SOON!!!!
my husband is starting wtc next week, I will officially be an army wife, could you give me some advice or tell me about your experience... i am going to miss him so much and this will be my first time to go a while without him... maybe we could chat or something... us army wives need to stick together
I cried non stop... Former Combat Marine who knows what you are talking about. We were seperated over 2 years without a visit. But we made it work again. Now the VA takes grat care of my family and I as the cancer eats up my body at only 39. It's just my time to ride. I love you all, and may your husband get home safe. But I'm honest, I'd rather be with him right now!!!
I served in Iraq from July 07 - May 08 with 29th Infantry Div. My wife is was greatest source of strength, I would not have been able to make it with out her, she help me to hold it together when I need strength. God Bless you all for everything you do, Soldier's wife the hardest job you ever love
