Trust me man. I got an 05. If an aftermarket exhaust made the tc sound better I WOULD of gotten in. If you really think it sounds good, then you need to check your ears. Good aftermarket exhausts are good when YOU DON'T KNOW it is aftermarket. ALL the ones for the tC suck ass. You'd be better off keeping the stock exhaust and getting either the SC or if you got a manual get a turbo. SC/Turbo are at least respectable add-ons to a car by car enthusiasts.

doesn't putting a header on and leaving the stock mid-pipe mess with the air flow in your exhaust? you have a larger space for the air to go into (the header) but then you're aqueezing it into the stock mid-pipe. i'm jw cause i have a tC and i have a header for it, but haven't installed it cause i don't wanna have to deal with turbulence in my exhaust.

CAI doesnt do anything for the exhaust. The exhaust system without the header will sound much better and would not be that loud.

Header gice u a nice look in the engine bay and gives you some horsepower gain.

CAI is cold air intake. google it.

CAI does make a sound difference. I did my CAI first. During normal driving it's silent, but open the throttle just a little and the sound deepens and opens up. Over all the engine just sounds deeper with a CAI.

CAI does do a little. Lets more air in which results in more hp and tq. Take my word on it. take your CAI off and put your stock back on. Youll see a difference in power. It also makes the exhaust louder, because it is letting more air into the engine. As a result more air comes out. louder, mainly deeper sound.

i got a megan racing header... there is an axle back "slip on" HKS system for the tc... but i got a custom exhaust... i bought the HKS muffler ( its only a muffler without piping) and the magnaflow resonator ( i cant remember where..) and the muffler shop did a cat back piping for me.

if u have no turbo, no s/c go with 2.25 piping!
