Haha this guy is retarded. Pronounced bilstein wrong and said wayne winch haha. And the reason why these dont have the cummins in them is because they had problems with mounting the winch with a cummins in it
Only downside. If you're doing a lot of offroading through the woods and stuff. The crew cab or mega cab may become an issues making the wheelbase longer. and what not
As much as I'd like to see a cummins in this truck the hemi does just fine. With 380 hp and over 400 lb ft of tq it does good. I would love to own one of these trucks.
Sorry, but I'm not too impressed. It is a super nice offering from Dodge no doubt, but a regular cab would be more practical for offroad. 32 inch tires? Wow. I would have guessed at least 35's. Worst of all....no Cummins? Dodge, what are you thinking? If you built it with a Cummins, It would FAR outsell the Hemi Power Wagon.
@F350JOHN with the front sway bar disconnect there wasn't enough room for a cummins so they had to keep the 5.7 hemi in there but it would be awesome if they could find a way
@street8487 nope, the average American can't drive a manual anymore. It's a lost art. I'm super glad Dodge still offers it in their other pickups! Ford and Chevy gave up.
everyone should stop bitching about not having a cummins, first of all itll never happen cause of the dissconnecting sway bar, they couldnt fit it in,second of all, diesl engines are to heavy for offroading, and just so you guys no,the cummins has the worst power between the big 3 diesel truck companies (ford, chev, dodge) id much rather have the all mighty hemi then a meazly inline 6, i like the cummins, but it cant compete, watch head to head HD oon utube.
they cant put the cummins in it to much weight.....so i say they put the challenger 392 6.4l Hemi V8 in it, its got more hp and torque and 20M.P.G? solves the problem
@markab71 Yes...because that's exactly what I meant. The real deal is Dodge has a vehicle that can go offroad and drive across rocks and rough terrain and all that good stuff...Ford has a truck that can drive on sand. Well ladee freakin da
@Motorchevytoyota what the hell are you smoking, those numbers don't translate? I'm comparing top of the line half ton trucks. Chevy and Ford both have a 6.2 pushing out over 400 hp and 400 tq...guess you'd rather have the Dodge that comes in last? Also check out the quality of the manufacturer, Dodge has the worst quality by far from the big 3. If you want to make the assumption on most purchased then you can't compare the Hemi against the 5.3...You better step down to the 4.7

@cozzey05 Go read reviews before you post asinine and ill informed comments such as this one. The Dodge is the highest rated truck out of the three. The heavy duty and half ton have won numerous awards and are touted for their improvements in overall quality and reliability. Oh and the Hemi is the most purchased. It's hard to find a Ram on the lot that has the 4.7 because that engine is not in high demand.
@Motorchevytoyota F150 and Silverado are best. Dodge has the worst quality, least horsepower, old 5 speed auto while everyone else is using 6 speed. The hemi is now the least powerful truck of the 3
What's the point of Ram being talked about as a separate brand? We all know its a God Damn Dodge!! Nice truck, I have a Dodge too!! I have an '04 Durango, strong as hell!
@carguy379 With a Hemi that already has 400 lbtq not to mention that it has 4.56 gears, that should be plenty. If it did had a cummins it wouldnt have the room to have the roll bar disconnect.
@wdkj2013 The winch and the electronic sway bar are in the way of the intercooler and radiator. There are a few conversions out there, but I bet they cost some serious coin to do. I do agree with you; the 800 ft lb of torque could really help the truck lug around its weight.
@mbuddenn I would agree, but the Cummins, as a diesel, is heavier and would probably mess up the weight distribution. For offroading, it probably wouldn't be as practical as the Hemi. I still think it should be an option, though.
Haha this guy is retarded. Pronounced bilstein wrong and said wayne winch haha. And the reason why these dont have the cummins in them is because they had problems with mounting the winch with a cummins in it

Leather isn't good for a strictly off road truck. It cracks too easily If you soak it in mud and water from the trail.

@mbuddenn It would add too much weight for real off roading, and the Cummins is avaible on the the 2500 model as well.

@crazyp2jimmy They should've made it fit, the old 5.7 Hemi isn't bad, but it isn't what the new Power Wagon needs, it actually needs power.
