Since metal conducts heat rather considerably well, using a welding torch to weld the rings together would have given him severe internal burns at least, which most likely would have woken him up.

By age 20 it became clear that the peice was without a doubt heterosexual. It's parent's understand that it went through a period of uncertainty and respect its decision, had it gone either way. The bear trap is like the movie "mirrors" where the girl just grab her top and bottom jaw and just rips her bottom jaw off lol. Its super fake but funny to watch!
The way i always thought it was a bear trap lies flat against the floor e.g _ _ when it close it closes like a V. Now imagine the bear trap can be pulled back so the two halves were touching and the trap would have to civer a full 360 degrees when it springs back to it's natural position. He's set that sort of trap on to her head but because of the force it goes off with and the fact thats the forces are pulling in opposite directs her head will be literally ripped in half.
Actually you would die from the reverse bear trap. The point is to hold the bottom jaw and head in place and have the top spring open. When you said imagine a guy using his hands to pry your mouth open, is ACTUALLY like someone putting your head against a wall so it can't tilt back, securing your bottom jaw so it can't move and ramming a baseball bat upwards on your top row.
Ah, so you're saying it's more like crushing the top half of her head? Or ramming her top jaw into her skull? That makes sense actually, but it really doesn't look like that in the movie, it just looks like it springs open exactly like a backwards bear trap lol
Well I'm open to the possibility that I'm wrong. I've only seen the movie once but it seemed that the bottom half of it didn't really seem to move and the top half seemed to almost meet up with the piece on the top of her head.
either that, or by the way you put it in the video, your neck would break if the top jaw was broken from the bottom jaw by way of the nerve cords going against each other.
and even if they did somehow get the rings on the last guy and if he did get them all off and got to the bomb it would make no difference surely he would die from blood loss after about a few hours because theres nothing in the room to stop the bleeding i would imagine

I never really thought about it much but now that you mention it I agree with you about the Reverse Bear-trap. I think a normal bear trap would've been more fun, of course he would've had to think of a way to make that work, but hey. He found a way to put a steel ring in a guy's jaw without waking him up, so yeah. Try the angel trap next. I'm intrigued to see if you can find an issue.

1st. the masking tape on on drill marks where 2 stop drilling so it wouldnt pierce his brain
2nd. there could hav been clips on the rings but the guys inability to stay calm made not able to think to pull the rings out like that.

If it didn't just snap your spine,
it would sever the top half of your head. - Killing you.
If it didn't manage to do either of those it would tear open you mouth and you would eventually bleed to death.

The way i always thought it was a bear trap lies flat against the floor e.g _ _ when it close it closes like a V. Now imagine the bear trap can be pulled back so the two halves were touching and the trap would have to civer a full 360 degrees when it springs back to it's natural position. He's set that sort of trap on to her head but because of the force it goes off with and the fact thats the forces are pulling in opposite directs her head will be literally ripped in half.

Actually you would die from the reverse bear trap. The point is to hold the bottom jaw and head in place and have the top spring open. When you said imagine a guy using his hands to pry your mouth open, is ACTUALLY like someone putting your head against a wall so it can't tilt back, securing your bottom jaw so it can't move and ramming a baseball bat upwards on your top row.

Well I'm open to the possibility that I'm wrong. I've only seen the movie once but it seemed that the bottom half of it didn't really seem to move and the top half seemed to almost meet up with the piece on the top of her head.

"How the fuck?" was my question more than "What the fuck?" in Troy's trap too. I had many issues with that trap. I never really thought about it much but now that you mention it I agree with you about the Reverse Bear-trap. I think a normal bear trap would've been more fun, of course he would've had to think of a way to make that work, but hey. He found a way to put a steel ring in a guy's jaw without waking him up, so yeah. Try the angel trap next. I'm intrigued to see if you can find an issue.
