One time, I think I accidentally put in a code with my controller before starting this game. Because all throughout the game, all of the boss fights were one on one with no henchmen helping. I cannot remember what I was doing to cause that to happen.

Wow, I remember the boss being soo much harder. In my head I remember him spraying ballets all over the screen so you could barely move. Then again I was like 9-10 when I first beat it.

I loved this game, beat it when I was 10. Let a friend borrow it and he never gave it back and then moved out of state. I still lose sleep over that to this day.

I beat this game only today, about 10 years after first playing it, and i beat the wingates using the crappy pistols! Although my middle finger is as fast as the machine gun, and that, is why you should play guitar.

kickass you beat him using the magnum and the machine gun? I know that weapon's strong, but I always had problems using the magnum due to its rate of fire, so I always had to use the machine gun through the whole two fights.

I love that the premise of this game is basically to walk into towns, including an indian village and a random desert ninja settlement, and just shoot everyone you see.  I love NES.
