The slashing Bio-Mechanical Warrior (BMWs) Robots, were fabricated at Screaming Mad George's FX Shop where me and 30 other talented FX Technicians "brought those BMWs to life". Skinny Women (and one even skinnier Dude) were inside the silver suits to avoid a bulky RoboCop Look. Glad I got the chance to meet The Late Great Dennis Hopper. And I have a half torso BMW still glowing in my Sudio!
@fromthedead maybe because it's a popular track of music at the time, also I would say Alien Resurrection used the music from the Space Truckers trailer, since it came later.
@fromthedead Pretty much every trailer uses music from other films, and then are companies that produce music specifically for use in trailers, so naturally a lot of them pull material from the same sources.
I remember seeing this in the cinema when I was young. There were only about four people there at the time. I haven't seen this since but I still remember the country and western style theme song at the beginning.

No I recreated the trailer using the audio from the 4:3 one included on the dvd, and the video from the 2.35:1 version of the film.
