Derek Roddy plays any speed comfortably. If you watch his drum vids where hes got the 4 toms in descending order with paiste cymbals you'll notice the bpm is around 200 which is probably the hardest tempo to play ever.

Derek's solos are way more interesting in my opinion. Every Joey solo I've seen are fast repeated fills. Look at Derek's clinics, I have yet to see Joey attempt any kind of independence, latin grooves or any other style than nu-metal drumming.
