well the judges thought it would sell doritos, and there was advertising experts among them ginger scouser. most ads aren't gonna make people buy a product but will it stick in peoples minds? perhaps....

Hello there, I co-directed this ad.

I don't mind constructive criticism but please do not accuse us of racism. The snack buddy character is clearly fantastical and cartoonish; his performance is so stylised I do not know how any worldly person could mistake it for xenophobia. I have shown it to Spanish friends, they are not offended.
