That makes sense, to be honest i didnt factor in your singing. I play this song on a massive ac/elec at least once a day and damn near cry every time sing along. At first i thought you were just singing alittle flat and monotone, but now i can credit your female take on his singing style ( which can be very monotone at times) and your creativity to change the key to fit tyour voice, thats automatic for some musicians, but not the bad ones.

Either your chors are terriably wrong or your guitar is out of tune, but the intro chords were definately off, but i accept that i learn all my songs by ear so im never 100% myself. Purtty voice though :D

@TajFludd I play it in a different key than the original recording. Colin Meloy has a deeper voice than I do so I had to raise it up to be able to sing it. That's why the chords are different.
