we went there in 1999 brill place great people really friendly and safe then they opend the flood gates and all hell broke lose what was the greek govement thinking they obviousley hadn`t seen british documentries on pissed up brits in british streets i remember laganas as being untouched and unspoilt now it`s just spoilt i can`t remember what it was like to be proud to be british !!!

its a great holiday mate you'll love it

we stayed in the aphrodite last year, its one of the better hotels and its literally a 2 minute walk from the beach, shops and clubs

make the most of it if you're just going for a week cause it flies by!

I went there and some Greeks told me that most Greek people hate the English, they seem to prefer Germans also they treat animals badly just letting them starve. These Greek freinds of mine told me they put cooking oil out for tourists instead of olive oil and those free drinks you get are meths. I was violently ill because of this It put me off going again. I just feel sorry for the animals. Check out the video "Boycott Greece, support animals" its really sad.

I can ensure you that Laganas is just ONE SMALL part of Zante where this happens. And my people accept that just because only those sluts and drunk gays give money to this island right now as it survives just by the tourism. Greece is not like that. I can ensure you that since all those drunk british people started getting naked there and vomit in the streets,all greek people went away!

went in august last year with my girlies. Had a fab time. Was busy but not too bad. For anyone going in august, watch out coz laganas is popular with the italians. Some nights they caused trouble in the streets. But majority of holiday was no worse then particularly packed saturday night out. Go to rescue, boozers and bar code. Bar code play all the footie!!

I went in early season so it wasn't as crowded as it would be now, you'll have a really good time. Just watch out for the dodgy blokes trying to take advantage. They claim they're greek but they're really Albanian. Stay in a group and you'll be fine. Whilst you're there, visit St Nicholas beach, it's the best of all the islands.
