Didnt like the music at first but it does seem to go with Jack and Chloe. They rule any town they are in. Oh and loved the part where they guy asks who is jack bauer and freddy prinze looks at the guy like he is an mentally deformed idiot. Also liked when Jack says "I hate this place" Dont we all.

i reckon that bit about the helicopter blowing up goes like this:

jack calls ctu and they send him a chopper to bring in the informant and it lands on the roof nearby but when they get to the roof it seems too quite so jack takes a few steps forward, senses something is wrong, sees the missile and runs, thus leading to a run through the city to get to ctu his own way

Why else has Kiefer been constantly quoted by journalists more? I'm pretty sure that he's giving a hint not just saying random stuff while drunk.

I honestly believe that Bauer's time has come. I love the show but Kiefer has said that it can continue without him. He's probably going to die for real this time

Obviously i'd care but Chloe and Taylor don't hold the show together like Jack does. 24 IS Jack Bauer; it's about Jack's sacrifices, we've followed HIM exclusively throughout 7 seasons. No other character has had even half the screentime Jack's had; they're all supporting.

I'd be mad too. 24 has unnecessarily killed off too many great characters as is. And Jack *could* possibly die but to me and i'm sure many other fans that would be equivalent to the death of 24.

No worries, 24 wouldn't be 24 would ample disasterous scenarios :) I don't think it'll be cancelled though. That's usually only if viewership declines a ton.
