What has Neuschwanenstein castle to do with Munich, except that many people combinine both places in one holyday? I hate when the big cites claim everything for themselves. Neuschwanstein is of course province and not part of an urban area.

Hofbräuhaus is the last place you'd find a true Munich local. The Hard Rock Cafe across the street tells you it's a tourist trap. A proper local beer hall is the Augustiner Keller.
