ONE LOOKS LIKE OPTIMUS! These are coller than the American version of transformers I must say, but they are newer than G1 and made in Japan, so they're probably betterly made.

TF continuity in Japan didn't end with Season 3 of G1. There were a lot of other series (like this one, HeadMasters, and Car Robots). They all can be squeezed into general TF continuity except for Car Robots.

Victory's characters were a lot different, as far as using morning stars or swords for weapons. But Victory is very similar to the old G1 series (ie. the quest for Energon by the Deszarus, and the death of a beloved character--Ginrai). Best G1 series in my opinion.
