When I lived in SoCal I worked in Fontana across the street from California Motor Speedway but always had to work weekends... Used to catch short track races at Spanaway (now closed) when I lived in Tacoma... they were talking about building a track in Portland OR, at the old ALCOA aluminum plant, but too many Liberals crying about noise pollution, traffic congestion and some total bullshit environmental concerns... Seeing Talladega would Rock, that's some serious racing right there!
