Why not use C++? I find it easier than objective-C.

I'm currently an Economics major in College and would like to develop iPhone apps in my free time. The thing is that I do not want to take any programming courses while in school as it does not pertain to my areas of study. I know nothing of programming, where should I start? Should I learn C, then Objective-C, then develop or should I just learn Objective C from the start?

Computer language is almost all the same. You should start by taking a Intro to Computer Programming at a college which will start you off with C++ and Java.

I see that Lynda has the training videos for the old iPhone SDK, but do you know If and when you will be releasing training for the latest iPhone SDk 4? That is what I need to learn. This video is out of date.
