naruto is good show, but im tired of people overrating it. i liked calssics like ronin warriors, but of todays animes id say i like those of cowboy bebop, trigun, and outlaw star. naruto has too much filler and talking, if it was more action oriented (liek the manga) it would be more entertaining.

The filler thing, you are sooooooooo right about, but what are ya gonna do when the show catches up with the manga? In some cases, at least it's better than stopping the show entirely.

Hopefully they do the exciting scenes from the manga right. They have a habit of spending more time explaining what they are going to do than they do fighting. If it turns out more like sasuke vs naruto, where there was talking and background, but not overdone, i think the anime will be fantastic.

what about the Sasuke Retrieval Arc? That had first rate action and limited sitting around doing squat. Plus Lee doesn't talk much when he's drunk ;)!

yea i meant the whole retrieval, but its a pain to type =)of the sound four i liked nejis fight most, choji himself was cooler, but the fighting wasnt as exciting as palms versus spiders. Rock lee is my favorite character, he has been since he showed up, i love all his fights lol. (favs are rock lee, gaara, kiba, and kakashi, this list exludes akatsuki, but i dont like itachi, in case you were wondering, sharigna is like entering a cheat code, i dont like either lol)

I guess we can just hope for the best with Naruto. They can do a hell of a job when they try. The Naruto-Fox fight with Haku still blows my mind. And they've done some other stuff really well. But your right, they spend WAY too much time explaining crap. That's why I watch AVATAR: The Last Airbender; it's a kid show, but it's awesome, and they sure don't mess around with it!
