Everybody has a right to a FAIR hearing as embodied in the Constitution. Police forces only provide stability in areas with high crimes. If these guys were "special forces" why would the second soldier shoot the assailant 3 times after he was already down(dead, according to savage)?
And, if they were proficient in hand to hand combat, it would have been much easier for the soldier to finish the guy without taking his own gun out.

There were no police in America until the latter part of the 19th Century. The citizens policed themselves. Today we have more people in prison, or waiting to be on trial, than any nation on earth. It's the only Growth Industry in America. More police, more courts, more prisons. it's a massive waste of tax dollars. Everyone should be armed. We'd wipe out crime quickly without all of the added costs.

Also, why would individually armed citizens be more effective than police officers. Also, was there less crime in the latter pert of the 19th century of more crime b/c the rise of urban areas led to the formation of various gangs b/c of the lack of a police force. Also, do you believe police forces provide stability?

You pose interesting questions. The rise of the population in urban areas probably contributed to the establishment of organized police departments as crime levels increased. Everybody has a right to a FAIR hearing as embodied in the Constitution. Police forces only provide stability in areas with high crimes. For instance, you won't see high crime in a town of Mormons, probably no crime at all. Making more and more laws against the State only benefits those employed by the State.

I had a similar story...i was working in ER...2 Mexicans try to CARJACK a US Marine...gunpoint and all....Marine whips out his Pistol...Kills one carjacker on the spot, the other guy got SHOT UP pretty bad BUT We saved carjacker#2 in the operating room....cops handcuffed him when he recovered

Nobody is blaming these victimized minority groups - instead we are pointing to the history lesson of being soft on aggressors. One of the many things I like about Dr. Savage is that he's not afraid to call it the way it is, including when it applies to liberal, wacked-out Jews (though he himself is Jewish).
That's how I see the world ... who's ever in the wrong gets called on it. To me that's just being honest & mature. Why does Savage have knack for gettings things wrong. Guns are not a good thing! If someone wants to own a gun, that tends to be a clear indication they are not a sutable person to own one. If youve only got one for defense, then chances are you wont be getting the first shot in, and if so, do you trust the law to protect you?
