This is the first time I've ever cared for this song and actually listened to it even though I think it first came out either before I was born or an infant. In my opinion it is both a love and a death song, meaning, if my husband were to die tomorrow (God forbid), I would want this played at his funeral as an expression of my love. In 6 days, we will have been married 25 years so hopefully we have a lot of years before that is something we have to think about. Such talent at such a young age.

Words about his mother dying, if it isn't true, is just a bit tasteless and insensitive. Imagine how he or his mum would feel about it. Nice recording though. Perhaps images of streams, hills, solitude etc would be more appropriate or of people saying goodbye, being alone or sad - leaving folks to interpret it for themselves.
