One Young-Earth Creationist says to another "Which is closer - the Moon or Mexico"? The other points at the Moon and replies "The Moon - Duh! You can't see Mexico from here".
I like how you presented both views, interviews from both the creationists in the museum and the protesters outside it. Thats good journalism. Props to you.
So...according to the guy in the beginning, the scientists that are supporting evolution, which is almost all of them, are also behind abortions and same sex marriage? Where do they get this crap from!?
I agree. We are raising a generation of people who are being taught to believe exactly what the professor's teach them. They are not being taught to think critically. Such as, think about how many changes a mammal would have to go through to become a whale. Imagine how easily a predator would be able to catch a mammal whose leg was transitioning into a tail. That animal would die, not evolve. No transitional forms have been found and from rocks to humans there should have been lots of them.
Brah, I don't even know what the comment you replied to was since I viewed this video months ago (and I'm too lazy to look that far back). Judging by your "retort" you must have misconstrued whatever I said to be in favor of creationism. Either what I said was sarcastic and you didn't catch it because there's no way I'd ever say there wasn't evidence for natural selection and mean it. . Or, your reading comprehension is shit.
"brah" (must mean you're a teenager). But your admitted laziness is symbolic of your attitude and probably your learning ability. Youtube displays your past comment here directly under the video to make it easy to reply. You blind?
I didn't misconstrue shit. You're a dumb fuck and here is what you said:
"How can natural selection possibly exist immediately after the big bang when there wasn't any life to select for?
Actually, you can find natural selection in RNA formations. Life arose from nucleic acids and proteins which were assembled from a mix of simpler units strung together with chemical bonds. But aside from that, a rudimentary form of natural selection likely existed in the primordial soup. If so, the complex "ecosystem" of prebiotic molecules may have made the eventual arrival of life much more probable. The tricky part is figuring out exactly what the relevant chemicals to use are.
5:41 One of the very best ways to fight theism is to rally to make debate classes mandatory in school from an early age. Theists are virtually incapable of defending their theism without the sustained use of logical fallacies. Teach the young generations what logical fallacies are and theism could potentially die out in as soon as a single generation...
@PrezBarkORama "Creationists are funking retards. End of story. Yawn"
"Your statement proves that you are the retards. You have no ev idence for your claim and u attack the man and not the argument. You are a disgrace to the human race. Learn to think and then learn to communicate what you think. For now u cant think and you cant communicate any but the depth of your foolishness.
@Bethletvids Sounds like uo are more worried about what people think than discovering the Truth. C'mon geta backbone will ya? Stand up for something..be Bi-pedal. hahahaa

The guy says * you can't prove it scientifically, but............* how stupid can that be. If you can't prove it scientifically, then you can't prove it. How else can one prove something other than doing it scientifically??? Proving it emotionally, morally, socially, sexually?
Matt Dillahunty before he started doing actual research to proof his case...only finding all proofs to be against his case and turning into an atheist in the process.
@jshowa2 Yeah, but you believe a protein is simple! And plus, as an evolution believer, you are more than likely to believe in the Big Bang theory, that is the magic firecracker!
@jshowa2 Wait, Mr Engineer-- are you saying a protein, even a simple protein is not complex?! Thanks for the intellectual insult of not giving credit where credit is due.
Mutation of viruses don't mean the virus is alive. Viruses are not considered to be alive, therefore it can't mutate. I'd have more respect if you had said a "bacteria mutates".
Also, 530 millions years.... no sir! If you're talking about radiometric dating, you do not have a definite dating method, because you cannot precisely measure or estimate what you begin with.
@jshowa2 If I want to worship and pray, that's my business. You are so right, for once. God owns me, but it seems like you're getting owned by me. So which is it: science or religion?
@jshowa2 Man, you apparently don't understand genetics. You are an engineer, right? What would happen if your calculations were 1.23% off? Laughable! Label me a mad man and than you rant about being an engineer who thinks 1.23% is "not a big difference".
I don't have to do research, your claims are idiotic. Maybe if I was dealing with someone a little more capable.
@jshowa2 I made two or three comments and you are already boiling over! Ok, I'll leave you alone, but don't come bothering me, 'cause I got another evolutionist I'm dealing with.
@jshowa2 JSHOWA2 what a fine example of ignorance you are sir! You want to discuss evolution/science or you want to keep attacking me personally? I'm not going to babysit you.
@jshowa2 98.77% means 1.23% not equal. (I think it's in the lower 90%'s, but I'll work with this figure for now.) Take that 1.23% of about 3billion base pairs and you get about 37million different base pairs. That is what they don't tell you. Yeah, big difference now, heh? I wonder what those 37 million base pairs code for.....
@jshowa2 Yeah, but the "life" you are talking about was microscopic life. All of a sudden, this mass amount of huge life forms appear. I don't think we are talking 530M.A., more like thousands. We have very few hominids, which we can fit them all in a casket, as a common quotation.
@jshowa2 Mutation, doesn't mean that I must accept evolution; it we are fallen creatures subject to the destructive power of sin.
Viral immunity, is not via evolution. Certain viruses may have MUTATIONS that enable it to evade completely a drug. If that virus lives and now multiplies, we then have a colony of resistant viruses. Also you are assuming that viruses are alive...
Vaccines are by killing, weaking or shredding a virus to pieces which again has nothing to do with evolution.
@jshowa2 Seems like you did. We are not constantly consciously thinking about death, therefore we are not programmed to think we will die. Unless other people are, I'm not. Do you see people counting their days? Give me some basis. We all tend to think about our futures, not about our funerals. Get it?
@jshowa2 Every evolutionist knows that you can't explain the Cambrian period, where a massive amount of life suddenly appeared. That doesn't sound like evolution. Besides, even evolutionist know that the evolutionary tree seems to be upside down.
All the fossils you have wind up getting debunked somehow, sometime later. Remember the most recent, Ida?
Genetic-wise, I doubt evolution even comesclose to being the solution. There is a LOT of info in DNA that evolution could never be responsible.
@jshowa2 Evolution is a thought that has not been proven. It's historical science; in other words it's non provable nor testable. I accept mutation because it's scientific knowledge. You are a little confused-- mutation doesn't make evolution true-- evolutionists believe mutation drive evolution. So I can believe mutations exist without believing evolution. Not all mutations are strictly negative, though no positive mutation is found, it's just speculation.
@jshowa2 Talk about taking my comments WAAYY out of context. I never said people don't die. I'm saying, we don't go around counting our days. And yes, thanks to God first and also thanks to my Dr's for my cancer treatment, but what does evolution have to do with cancer? It probably does in a negative way, like mutations.
Studying evolution doesn't cure anything.
You're saying that because I hate evolution, I hate science. That's false. I love science, and evolution is not science.
We're NOT the FUCKING FLINTSTONES!!! Thats where creationists loose huge points with me. Putting a velocaraptor with a small child. Really this should be a feature at Disneyland or Orlando studios..
Many automatically assume life randomly formed out of the primordial ooze, but evolution has many problems.
Living beings are made up of all Left-handed amino acids, but in the lab both right handed and left handed acids are created, and the right handed acids destroy the left handed acids. Once a cell is created it needs oxygen to live but the same oxygen would destroy the molecules being made to form life.
Idiots! *slaps head* ......only in America could something this retarded ever be created. Why do I have to live directly above such a stupid country!? I am going to Europe soon fuck!
@torontoBluejays87 Its a free country man, you can't stop people from wanting to build and support something Stupid like that. Anyway's at least 100 MILLION people in America DON'T believe in any type of god. Typical response from someone outside the US though. Talk shit about how all Americans are Dumb. You sound more like an Idiot with that statement than anyone I have ever met. LOL, go to Europe, have fun playing with Muslims, I hear they are much more open for debates about religion LOL
@Eszlee look up occults in hip hop, hollywod, music, its everywhere now rite in front of our faces and poeple are being decieved from the truth, if you do that trust me you will believe in jesus christ and the bible trust me on this i promise you will
@Maybe you guys (evolutionist) should look up occults in hip hop in hollywood, its everywhere and everybody has been decieved and trust be that will make u believe the bible
@m0nkey13 speak logic???? their is no logic or evidence when it comes to evolution lol, you believe we came from a rock and you wanna talk about logic hahahaha
m0nkey13 speak logic???? their is no logic or evidence when it comes to evolution lol, you believe we came from a rock and you wanna talk about logic hahahaha
wow.. what a bunch of secular fools. (Psalm 53:1) When each one of us dies.. we will indeed meet our Creator & be Judged accordingly for every idle word we have said. God is Love yes.. but He is also JUST.. and Justice will be served. I'll be praying for those that were interviewed in this video. Thanks for sharing.
@Eszlee1 Yes because science is evil and logic is so overrated (sarcasm). Just because someone is rational and needs evidence before supporting an idea that makes them unjust. Have you ever read Thomas Paine's book "The Age of Reason" where he said that we should observe science to look at the magnificent of god. Although am an atheist I respect those who believe in a god. The only thing I don't respect is ignorance, you can be loyal to god and observe the world in a logical manner.
Plus, the guy said that the Russians, French and Belgian were laughing at us. I am not ashamed to be American. Look at all the problems these 3 European countries are facing. I don't hate them though, just stating at where atheism takes a nation. USA #1.
I don't know how we are "losing out" because of faith. Don't blame us Christians for the lack of education, blame it on the inefficiency of the education system because of the evolution they are teaching. Also blame hollywood. I get tired of people saying just because we are Christians we don't believe in technology. No, that's wrong; it's evolution we don't believe in. I see no conflict between Creationism and technology.
@compgrad1 You wrote "because we are Christians [...] it's evolution we don't believe".
That's wrong. Many christians (the smart ones) believe in evolution. The same pope John Paul II considered evolution as a fact (Read his talk to Pontifical Academy of Sciences - October 22, 1996), so catholics can agree with the reality of evolution.
Only a part of american protestants (I suppose the most fanatic and bigot ones) have problems to accept evolution as it is: a mere fact proven by science! :-)
@FreeSilio No, theonesthat are compromising Christianity's teaching believe in evolution. The catholics, anglicans, etc. Not every member of these, but you get the point. And that comes with a price tag, because the very ones that believe in evo. and claim to be Christian are the very ones sanctioning gay marriage, having pedophiles, etc.I love the ad hominems attacks, they prove that atheists can't refute anything. You can't prove evolution, 'cause you can't repeat it.When will atheists get it?
@compgrad1 All I can get by your words is you don't know how science works. Evolution is a fact admitted by all the non religion biased scientists (over 99.8%).
I agree there're many pedophiles in catholic clergy, but it depends on the fact they can't get married, so many sick people join priesthood. That's not related to accepting the fact of evolution.
About gay marriage you're wrong: Vatican fight hardly against it, and consider homosexuality as a sin. Your same point of view, isn't it?
@FreeSilio Even if all scientists agree, doesn't mean it is fact. I'm trying to let you atheists know that you cannot prove evolution. You may think you have evidence that points to evol. but that's it. I don't know if you are aware of this, but in science you have to be able to reproduce results. Catholics are wrong in a lot of stuff, like the inability of priests getting married. However, us and caths. agree in a whole lot.
@FreeSilio As for Anglicans, accepting gays as priests and marrying homosexuals... that's not right according to the Bible. The statement about gay marriage, I could not understand. But, yes, in my views which I got from the Bible, homosexuality is sinful. But again, to restate my strongest point to you guys:
You cannot PROVE evolution; you can hypothesize it as a possible solution. I disagree agreeably, but at least I can accept that as we dialogue about our views.
@compgrad1 Well, it depends on what you consider as a fact.
Let's put it in this way: there's such an overwheelming evidence pointing to evolution (and no other plausible Hypothesis to explain the same facts!) that we have to conclude it really happened.
I also notice that you use a double standard if you dont accept it, but consider as a proven "fact" the existence of a god we have not a single shred of evidence about, nor any proof of the historical existence of the man you call Jesus.
@FreeSilio You want historical evidence for Jesus' Existence, read Josephus that should be a great start. Then look at the modern calendar, the gov't system, the basis of our charities, the teachings of the justice dept. and then tell me they don't have a connection to Jesus. Answered prayers should be allowed as evidence for God's Existence. People get healed all the time of terminal diseases. But, you wouldn't accept that, would you?
@compgrad1 The most of terminal diseases end with death (and the spontaneous healing rate is the same for non believers). Should I consider those as evidences against your god? The most of prayers are unanswered. Does it prove a freakish god?
About Jesus: there's so little evidence of his REAL historical existence, beyond the mith, and so overwheelming ones about evolution that the one a rational person would doubt about is the foirmer. That's why I think you use a double standard of evidence.
@compgrad1 About Josephus: philologists (including the honest part of the christian ones) admit he was not a christian, and he didn't write the "testimonium flavianum", which is only a middle ages church fraud.
About the calendar: it only proves the power of christianity in the middle ages, due to emperor Constantine who IMPOSED christian religion killing non believers and heretics.
About the gospel: it's just a book with some amenities and several atrocities written in. Doesn't prove any god.
@FreeSilio Ok, I guess you are just plugging your ears, closing your eyes and stomping your feet and whinning. And Josephus is fraudulent, yeah keep dreaming. Atheists will do nothing short of lying to claim that we are the liars. How can a born again Christian spread lies? I don't know, but I guess Constantine still in power then right, bc we're still using his calendar. The french trying to change it too and fell on their faces.
@FreeSilio No, the rates are not the same for unbelievers. The University of Texas then must be wrong bc they did a study following 22k people for 9 years and religious folks outlived the atheists by 8 years. Maybe you should publish your findings and alert the U. of T.
As for the gospels and Jesus' Existence, read what the Church fathers said, how they quoted the gospels and Jesus' words. I can't make you believe, but when you spew your nonsense, I can certainly help with that.
@compgrad1 Josephus wasn't fraudolent (nor a born again Chr!:D). Middle age christian copists were. That's what philologists says.
Constantine forced us to christianity that's a fact. Pope Gregorius XIII made the calendar, never changed cause of christians power, which doesn't prove your god anyhow.
Can you believe in U.of T. (which proves people's faith but, once again, not your god) but not in 99.8% of scientists saying evolution is a fact? Once more: you got a double standard of evidence.
@FreeSilio I never said Josephus was a Christian, he was a historian that documented many things including the Church. You are in denial bc you can't prove evolution, but the people in the survery of U.T. are provable. Can't prove your evolutionary cult. I'm trying to make a point of how Jesus affected the calendar and it is still in effect. These scientists want to keep their jobs that's why they go along with evolution.
@compgrad1 Sorry, Josephus never talked about the church. You're not well informed.
You use a double standard of evidence because you dont trust the 99.8% of the scientists, claiming they only want to keep their job (Really? All of them?) but have blind faith in U.T., which is not a world class scientific institution.
Can't understand scientists don't need to lie to keep their jobs, while religious leaders need to deceive the believers to keep their power? Once more: you use a double standard.
@FreeSilio He spoke about John the Baptist and James and even Jesus and His followers, a.k.a. the church. Read antiquies 18 chpt 3 v 3. But ok, I'll lay off the history if it makes you feel better.
I don't have faith in the scientists who believe in evolution, because there's no way to prove or repeat the means that led to the conclusion. U.T. is a good school, remember we're taking data now, not science. Ad hominems not needed please.
@compgrad1 Sorry, Josephus never talked about christianity, excepting in a fragment of his "Antiquities of the Jews", which is considered by many philologists as a FALSE from middle age, so it's not a good proof, and it's all the historical evedence you got. We have so much more about evolution.
I think you use a double standard of evidence, trusting scientists only if they agree with your beliefs, and that's not ad hominem (I'm not insulting you!) but what I can say by your words.
@FreeSilio You just don't want to accept that there is evidence and when I present something, you say it's false. Would you accept that Jesus' disciples cruel deaths as proof that they did not die for nothing. Would anyone die for something that they knew were not true. I don't think so. Again, you have nothing on evolution. Remember Ida, who you guys thought was a great discovery. She basically evaporated. Discovered in 1983 and revealed in 2009. Huh...I wonder why they did that... hmmm
@compgrad1 I don't say Josepphus "Testimonium Flavianun" is false. Scholars say it (Watch on Wikipedia). So the evidence for Jesus is very little, while the one for Evolution is overwheelming, but on your double standard you dont accept the latter.
Death for faith dont proof any truth, otherwise also muslim kamikezes should prove Allah, but I think you agree they're nothing but evidences for fanatism.
Ida is just a fossil. Maybe it's false (I dont know), but evo evidence remains overwheelming.
@FreeSilio haha, I'm sorry, did you say wikipedia...? Sorry, but that's pretty funny.
You are getting the logic twisted bud, my argument was that those who saw and spoke to Jesus died for what they knew was true. You are mistaking muslim fanatism, of which they never spoke to or saw muhammad, are dying for. Where's the evo proof. I better be able to repeat it, by the way, else I'm not believing.
@compgrad1 You wonder why scientists made a mistake about one fossil (If it's really false, which I don't know)? Because people can be wrong! Who corrected their mistake? Other scientists, not religious people!
Science has a methodology which allows to correct mistakes, while religion has nothing like that. It just pretend to be right in his claims and no one is allowed to doubt it. That's why religion is flawed on the basis and will end as soon as fanatism and blind faith ends.
@FreeSilio I'm just stating that some scientists and atheists are hoping to find one thing that they can use to show that evo is possible. The Bible hasnever been corrected. I agree fanaticism isn't very good, Jesus Himself said so. He wanted believers to be others centered because that meant they were being God Centered at the same time. As for faith ending, no. It will never end because people were designed and made to worship something. That's why we have tree huggers, crystal lovers, etc.
@compgrad1 Scientists don't need anymore evidence to support Evolution. The ones they have is already overwheelming. Much more than the very little one about the historical existence of Jesus.
The ones who sow Jesus (if he really existed!) died only for what they CONSIDERED as truth but i have to repeat -once more again!- that what people believe is not necessary true. That's why I made a comparison with muslim fanatism. The one of the first christians, indeed, was not different.
@FreeSilio There is no evidence for evolution. I'd like to see some. No matter how many times I tell you, you don't understand or won't listen. But hey, I mean, you believe that someone would die for a lie. They saw the miracles, they heard Him talk, and even had His teachings. So you say that when He healed someone, his disciples were like... no, I did not see that man healed, it's my mind playing tricks on me. I am left speechless...
@compgrad1 I understood what you say (the first time you wrote!), but I simply know you're wrong! Wanna see evidence for evolution? Go to a museum (a true one!), read a book, talk with scientists, but mainly open your mind and leave your double standard of evidence.
I'd die for a lie? Please, don't joke with me! The one's dying for lies are just the religious fanatics like the ones you wrote about pointing them as "evidence" for your delusion.
@compgrad1 OK lets list evidence for evolution fossil record, stages of embryos, observation of bacterial and cell evolution, the fact viruses evolve to combat vaccines, geological evidence, DNA structures and genomes, biodiversity, records of bananas long ago being hard shelled, and dog breeding is built on selection) and there is a whole lot more I'm just running out of space. Lets look at the evidence for creation, a 4000 year old story.
@ravenheart93 Haeckel disproved. Viruses not alive. Bact.surviving bc of mutations reproduce, or they can be infected by viruses. DNA structure, really? Genomes? REally? DNA only loses info, never gains. mutation? Biodiversity is based on population and geography, i.e. adaptation. Bananas? Not familiar with that, nor ever heard of it. Dog breeding, exactly my point in pop and geography. Creation, no physical evidence, but we don't make it up either. It's a faith, and everything makes sense.
@compgrad1 Well I could spend my time going through every detail in-dept but unfortunately I don't have enough characters. Any biologist will agree and could probably add more to it. The thing is that science is not based on opinion nor does it favor a certain idea (i.e. god). Our understanding of evolution stem from observation and supporting evidence. You can't rehash a old Jewish myth and call it science you need evidence and years of peer review before it can even be called a theory.
@ravenheart93 I expected more than the cards you just played by using wordplay. See, atheists like to use words like myth, mental, ignorance, flat earth--- to twist a good debate in order to shift morale to their side, when we Creation Science believers simply want to have an open discourse. There are several words we can use to flip the momentum to our side too. i.e. something from nothing, believers of 0x0=1, immorals--but I won't. I like good open discussions.
@compgrad1 Yes, me myself am an atheist but I know biologist who still believe in a god just not the creation story. I call a story that I find no basis in reality but try to answer a question, a myth. Nothing the problem is me and other scientist (even thou I'm not one yet) find it hard to believe in an idea without evidence. Faith is not a trait in science we doubt everything till sustainable evidence shows. Evolution doesn't say we come from nowhere it shows, species slowly progress over time
@ravenheart93 You're becoming a scientist, WOW, that would be cool! here's the problem: Species slowly progress from what? Your scientist friend only believes part of the Bible, so how does he know the rest is true? See the problem? The Bible has never been disproved, never is, never will.
@compgrad1 Ya but I admit I'm not going into Biology instead going into Physics. Anyways to the subject species slowly progress ever since unicellular organisms evolved to multicellular. The Multicellular organisms adapted to changing environments till they became different species who developed niches and symbiotic relationship those niches ever since then became the driving force in evolution. She believes that there is a god but science is better at explaining the world.
@ravenheart93 I guess I can understand why you guys believe evolution is fact, but I'll never be able to accept that the first unicellular organism your mentioned came into LIFE without any intervention. As a major of science you must understand the complexity of a simple protein.
@compgrad1 Yes I do understand and evolution doesn't take a higher power out of the context nor thous any theory in science. The only reason I myself am an atheist is that I feel like that existence was inevitable. There are still a lot of unanswered questions that need to be address and I feel like we already answers the question of where we came from. Going into physics I know most discoveries we made was in the last 20 years. In retrospect we are pretty ignorant of the universe.
@compgrad1 I feel like the Bible STORIES are made up and base that on the fact that they are too absurd to be in the realms of reality but that's my opinion and I'm not trying to turn you into an atheist. All I got to say about that last statement is someone would say the exact same thing you just said about the Kalevala or the Qur'an.
@ravenheart93 When you say Bible Stories, are referring to...? It's way too late for me to become an atheist ; )
I am stuck in my ways and my faith and I am loving every minute of it! You are studying physics, that's nice, must be really really really good in mathematics.
@compgrad1 As far as Bible stories I mean the story of Noah, Joan in the whale, exodus of Moses etc. etc.. I love religions I've studied theology most of my life. I have read the Bible cover to cover although the old testament made me sick and found the stories interesting but not realistic, I find a majority of Jesus philosophies great. I myself doubt Jesus holiness but I would like to sit down with the guy and have a peaceful talk.
@ravenheart93 Did you know basically every culture has a flood story? As 4 Jonah, a japanese(?) man fell off board and was swallowed by a big fish, or whale, and later was retrieved alive, back in the 1940's(?). About sitting w/ Jesus and talking, you can do it right now. He'll show you once you're desperate enough and believe. In order to understand the O.T. you must know the history of the pagan cultures and how sick they were, God gave them chance after chance, then He had to act.
@compgrad1 Well just because lots of cultures have something in common doesn't make it real or else you would believe in magic, dragons, and immortality. Anecdotes sadly don't stand as evidence in science. The Jesus thing you might feel a connection with Jesus but I doubt you can sit down and have brunch together. Yes most pagan societies where cruel but so where a lot of Jewish, Christian, and Muslim societies. The term pagan is a umbrella term for non-Abrahamic religions.
@ravenheart93 The pagans were so cruel they'd burn babies as sacrifices just to erect buildings. They'd have sex parties with various partners and the babies resulting from that would be burned up. That seems really cruel, way more cruel than a wipeout from war. You said you'd like to sit down with Jesus, I just followed up.
I don't believe in magic, dragons, but I believe in immortality. See, we think we are going to live forever, don't we? That shows we were made to be immortals.
@FreeSilio No, what I'm saying is eternity is engrained in our minds. I don't know about you but I don't think about death every single day. Desires don't prove reality but the reality proves the desire. And the reality is that we think we are immortals.
@FreeSilio Ok, you can dodge and deny whatever you want but that's the evidence. We have eternity in our hearts just like the Bible says. Sorry bud, you lose.
The civilized world is laughing at America. Its time to take the country back from these yahoos. The war on drugs is a hoax. The So-called war on terror is a hoax and this embarressing bullshit is incredible. Stand-up for sanity and put a stop to this once and for all. One popular presidential candidate believes in the talking snake theory and another wears magic underwear. Obama hasn't got the balls to admit the truth and caters to special interest groups and lunatics.
This was a refreshing "documentary" unbiased and without commentary, as it should be. Just presenting both sides. I wish mainstream news was this objective.
Can anyone answer to me if Dinosaurs came onto the "Ark" to survive the "Flood" how did they become extinct after? Wouldn't that be a massive massive piece of history and written and talked about as much as say.......a flood that killed everything else? Wouldn't there be very good record of that? not vague pointing toward "Beasts"? This isn't even mentioning how did they get the carnivorous Dinosaurs OFF the ark? they would eat everything in sight.....What did they Eat during the flood?
@TheJameySuede Yes, they would have to have gone into the ark. The flood story is very popular; many cultures report about it. The record that shows everything was killed is the fossil bed. Most dinosaurs were small and manageable. During the flood they ate whatever their food preference was, maybe they were in hybernation... The modern atheist move has reduced the concept of the global flood and the church has allowed it. Sad.
@compgrad1 The global flood has been reduced for simple reasons........It's not true, If you think the earth is 6000 years old, there is no place in the future for you or any of your children, please die quietly away from people interested in advancing the human race.
@TheJameySuede "Can anyone answer to me if Dinosaurs came onto the "Ark"..." Read John Woodmorappe BA in Biology, a BA in Geology, and an MA in Geology. His main works are "Noah's Ark: A Feasibility Study" - "Studies in Flood Geology" - "The Mythology of Modern Dating Methods". He has also written several articles in creationist journals.
@4GodSoLoves Oh brother...another sock. Too bad the flood was proven to be impossible mathematically. BTW "creationist journals" is an oxymoron...they are more properly referred to as dogma sheets
@pontecanis Okay, then don't read John Woodmorappe. I wasn't trying to start an argument. I was only trying to answering your question by pointing the Woodmorappe who is considered to be probably the best authority on the subject and who compiled the 1200 feasibility test studies as well as the peer reviews on the subject that concluded in the late 1800's. I figured if you wanted to know, he's the one to go to is all.
@4GodSoLoves Because 40Ar-39Ar, K-Ar and other radiometric dating methods refute their antiquated Biblical interpretations YECs are desperate to undermine these methods. John Woodmorappe (a pseudonym of Jan Peczkis) is infamous for finding quotations that he believes dispute the accuracy of radiometric dating. However, in context, they usually fail to support his claims and often refute them. -- Kevin R. Henke. PhD, Geologist, University of Kentucky
@pontecanis Okay, well there you go. Read Henke then. I just thought you wanted info on the Ark. Seems you understand Woodmorappe before and after he was ID and you seem to understand Henke well enough to decide for yourself. I just thought maybe I could help, but it seems I haven't been much help at all. lol At least your not one of those who will only read one side - the side that you want to agree with - that's good. God bless.
@pontecanis But I would like to say in all fairness, that from what I've read (not that book, but one other) he didn't always agree with those he quoted, like Wiens for an example. It seemed to me that when he quoted these people, he only did so to explain that others support, or near support, his own conclusions, or to point out similarities and differences(it isn't possible to read all sources). I don't know about Henke's quote and I haven't read "The Mythology of Modern Dating Methods".
@TheJameySuede A Jesuit school in the Ukraine(no names there). There's something U have to understand about him. He often quoted Jan Peczkis, but that was him/birth name. There's a good reason for that. He was a Ukrainian promoting Creation Science during the time of the USSR. You had to be very careful about that in those days. In America, while in places like Penn. he was still a Russian citizen and probably somewhat concerned about KGB even here. My wife is from Latvia. She's got stories.
@4GodSoLoves You've got some stories of your own, but I hear all the true intellectuals and scientists are coming out of Ukrainian Jesuit schools these days.......... SIGH
Theres something U have to understand,my previous comment is a quote from Jake Pesci, I hear Russia has the Internets now, I don't want them thinking I have an opinion.
Great guys camping outside... gives me faith that there are many, many intelligent, compassionate folk all across the U.S. - even in the Nazi bible belt.
@0xPUNKROCKx0 What does it matter where you live? There are Creationists in Switzerland also, does that make you ashamed of Switzerland all of a sudden? If you use the same kind of logic in science as you used in your above statement about feeling sorry for America and being glad you live in Switzerland, then it's no wonder you believe that rock can mold itself into life. Evolution is a religion that requires more faith than I have. At least Christianity isn't a BLIND faith as is Evolution.
Rock can mold itself into life? LOL What has that to do with Evolution? Evolutions is about how the life developed, not how it began. You mean abiogenesis. And that also has nothing to do with rocks...
You're right, there are no evidences for evolution but many for the Christian God... *facepalm*
@EvolvedSkeptic Dear evolved Evil-Lution Monkey-Tard: Have a good laugh because the laugh is on you. Scientists who are living in the nineties no longer believe in Darwin and Dawkins Fairy Tales for grownups-smart up, dood. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
@kookytootfloot What the flying fuck do you mean believe in darwin. He was just a man what people believed where his thoughts on where different species came from. No one built alters to him. Darwin just had ideas and studied various animals and came up with the best thoughts he could given the evidence at hand. The fossil and dna evidence in his views favor have gotten much more extensive since his time. The overwelming majority of scientist do believe in evolution in 2010.
@party489 Smart scientists always rejected Darwin religion. All you have is a ton of propaganda and not one shred of evidence for any of it. HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW are you still a child, believing in Darwin fairy tales? HAHAHAHAHAHA
@kookytootfloot You must be kidding. There is not and never has been a darwin religion. All I have is a ton of evidence and what you have is a ton of propaganda with no evidence supporting it. Look at what you said. There is no fucking way you could be serious. It saddens me to know how diluted and brainwashed some of my fellow species is when we have so much knowledge available to us. Are you just afraid to look at the facts or are you just too stupid to understand them?

Judging by your "retort" you must have misconstrued whatever I said to be in favor of creationism. I didn't misconstrue shit. You're a dumb fuck and here is what you said:
"How can natural selection possibly exist immediately after the big bang when there wasn't any life to select for?
Darwinian natural selection requires life."
No it doesn't.
L4ZYEYE 4 months ago
@kimjuszczak

I don't have to do research, your claims are idiotic. Maybe if I was dealing with someone a little more capable.

compgrad1 9 months ago
@jshowa2 98.77% means 1.23% not equal. (I think it's in the lower 90%'s, but I'll work with this figure for now.) Take that 1.23% of about 3billion base pairs and you get about 37million different base pairs. That is what they don't tell you. Yeah, big difference now, heh? I wonder what those 37 million base pairs code for.....
compgrad1 9 months ago
@jshowa2 Yeah, but the "life" you are talking about was microscopic life. All of a sudden, this mass amount of huge life forms appear. I don't think we are talking 530M.A., more like thousands. We have very few hominids, which we can fit them all in a casket, as a common quotation.
compgrad1 9 months ago
@jshowa2 Mutation, doesn't mean that I must accept evolution; it we are fallen creatures subject to the destructive power of sin.
Viral immunity, is not via evolution. Certain viruses may have MUTATIONS that enable it to evade completely a drug. If that virus lives and now multiplies, we then have a colony of resistant viruses. Also you are assuming that viruses are alive...
Vaccines are by killing, weaking or shredding a virus to pieces which again has nothing to do with evolution.
compgrad1 9 months ago
@jshowa2 Seems like you did. We are not constantly consciously thinking about death, therefore we are not programmed to think we will die. Unless other people are, I'm not. Do you see people counting their days? Give me some basis. We all tend to think about our futures, not about our funerals. Get it?
compgrad1 9 months ago
@jshowa2 Every evolutionist knows that you can't explain the Cambrian period, where a massive amount of life suddenly appeared. That doesn't sound like evolution. Besides, even evolutionist know that the evolutionary tree seems to be upside down.
All the fossils you have wind up getting debunked somehow, sometime later. Remember the most recent, Ida?
Genetic-wise, I doubt evolution even comesclose to being the solution. There is a LOT of info in DNA that evolution could never be responsible.
compgrad1 9 months ago
@jshowa2 Evolution is a thought that has not been proven. It's historical science; in other words it's non provable nor testable. I accept mutation because it's scientific knowledge. You are a little confused-- mutation doesn't make evolution true-- evolutionists believe mutation drive evolution. So I can believe mutations exist without believing evolution. Not all mutations are strictly negative, though no positive mutation is found, it's just speculation.
compgrad1 9 months ago
@jshowa2 Talk about taking my comments WAAYY out of context. I never said people don't die. I'm saying, we don't go around counting our days. And yes, thanks to God first and also thanks to my Dr's for my cancer treatment, but what does evolution have to do with cancer? It probably does in a negative way, like mutations.
Studying evolution doesn't cure anything.
You're saying that because I hate evolution, I hate science. That's false. I love science, and evolution is not science.

I see no conflict between Creationism and technology.
compgrad1 1 year ago
@compgrad1 You wrote "because we are Christians [...] it's evolution we don't believe".
That's wrong. Many christians (the smart ones) believe in evolution. The same pope John Paul II considered evolution as a fact (Read his talk to Pontifical Academy of Sciences - October 22, 1996), so catholics can agree with the reality of evolution.
Only a part of american protestants (I suppose the most fanatic and bigot ones) have problems to accept evolution as it is: a mere fact proven by science! :-)
FreeSilio 11 months ago 5
@FreeSilio No, theonesthat are compromising Christianity's teaching believe in evolution. The catholics, anglicans, etc. Not every member of these, but you get the point. And that comes with a price tag, because the very ones that believe in evo. and claim to be Christian are the very ones sanctioning gay marriage, having pedophiles, etc.I love the ad hominems attacks, they prove that atheists can't refute anything. You can't prove evolution, 'cause you can't repeat it.When will atheists get it?
compgrad1 11 months ago
@compgrad1 All I can get by your words is you don't know how science works. Evolution is a fact admitted by all the non religion biased scientists (over 99.8%).
I agree there're many pedophiles in catholic clergy, but it depends on the fact they can't get married, so many sick people join priesthood. That's not related to accepting the fact of evolution.
About gay marriage you're wrong: Vatican fight hardly against it, and consider homosexuality as a sin. Your same point of view, isn't it?
FreeSilio 11 months ago 6
@FreeSilio Even if all scientists agree, doesn't mean it is fact. I'm trying to let you atheists know that you cannot prove evolution. You may think you have evidence that points to evol. but that's it. I don't know if you are aware of this, but in science you have to be able to reproduce results. Catholics are wrong in a lot of stuff, like the inability of priests getting married. However, us and caths. agree in a whole lot.
compgrad1 11 months ago
@FreeSilio As for Anglicans, accepting gays as priests and marrying homosexuals... that's not right according to the Bible. The statement about gay marriage, I could not understand. But, yes, in my views which I got from the Bible, homosexuality is sinful. But again, to restate my strongest point to you guys:
You cannot PROVE evolution; you can hypothesize it as a possible solution. I disagree agreeably, but at least I can accept that as we dialogue about our views.
compgrad1 11 months ago
@compgrad1 Well, it depends on what you consider as a fact.
Let's put it in this way: there's such an overwheelming evidence pointing to evolution (and no other plausible Hypothesis to explain the same facts!) that we have to conclude it really happened.
I also notice that you use a double standard if you dont accept it, but consider as a proven "fact" the existence of a god we have not a single shred of evidence about, nor any proof of the historical existence of the man you call Jesus.
FreeSilio 11 months ago 4
@FreeSilio You want historical evidence for Jesus' Existence, read Josephus that should be a great start. Then look at the modern calendar, the gov't system, the basis of our charities, the teachings of the justice dept. and then tell me they don't have a connection to Jesus. Answered prayers should be allowed as evidence for God's Existence. People get healed all the time of terminal diseases. But, you wouldn't accept that, would you?
compgrad1 11 months ago
@compgrad1 The most of terminal diseases end with death (and the spontaneous healing rate is the same for non believers). Should I consider those as evidences against your god? The most of prayers are unanswered. Does it prove a freakish god?
About Jesus: there's so little evidence of his REAL historical existence, beyond the mith, and so overwheelming ones about evolution that the one a rational person would doubt about is the foirmer. That's why I think you use a double standard of evidence.
FreeSilio 11 months ago 8
@compgrad1 About Josephus: philologists (including the honest part of the christian ones) admit he was not a christian, and he didn't write the "testimonium flavianum", which is only a middle ages church fraud.
About the calendar: it only proves the power of christianity in the middle ages, due to emperor Constantine who IMPOSED christian religion killing non believers and heretics.
About the gospel: it's just a book with some amenities and several atrocities written in. Doesn't prove any god.
FreeSilio 11 months ago 6
@FreeSilio Ok, I guess you are just plugging your ears, closing your eyes and stomping your feet and whinning. And Josephus is fraudulent, yeah keep dreaming. Atheists will do nothing short of lying to claim that we are the liars. How can a born again Christian spread lies? I don't know, but I guess Constantine still in power then right, bc we're still using his calendar. The french trying to change it too and fell on their faces.
compgrad1 11 months ago
@FreeSilio No, the rates are not the same for unbelievers. The University of Texas then must be wrong bc they did a study following 22k people for 9 years and religious folks outlived the atheists by 8 years. Maybe you should publish your findings and alert the U. of T.
As for the gospels and Jesus' Existence, read what the Church fathers said, how they quoted the gospels and Jesus' words. I can't make you believe, but when you spew your nonsense, I can certainly help with that.
compgrad1 11 months ago
@compgrad1 Josephus wasn't fraudolent (nor a born again Chr!:D). Middle age christian copists were. That's what philologists says.
Constantine forced us to christianity that's a fact. Pope Gregorius XIII made the calendar, never changed cause of christians power, which doesn't prove your god anyhow.
Can you believe in U.of T. (which proves people's faith but, once again, not your god) but not in 99.8% of scientists saying evolution is a fact? Once more: you got a double standard of evidence.
FreeSilio 11 months ago 5
@FreeSilio I never said Josephus was a Christian, he was a historian that documented many things including the Church. You are in denial bc you can't prove evolution, but the people in the survery of U.T. are provable. Can't prove your evolutionary cult. I'm trying to make a point of how Jesus affected the calendar and it is still in effect. These scientists want to keep their jobs that's why they go along with evolution.
compgrad1 11 months ago
@compgrad1 Sorry, Josephus never talked about the church. You're not well informed.
You use a double standard of evidence because you dont trust the 99.8% of the scientists, claiming they only want to keep their job (Really? All of them?) but have blind faith in U.T., which is not a world class scientific institution.
Can't understand scientists don't need to lie to keep their jobs, while religious leaders need to deceive the believers to keep their power? Once more: you use a double standard.
FreeSilio 11 months ago 4
@FreeSilio He spoke about John the Baptist and James and even Jesus and His followers, a.k.a. the church. Read antiquies 18 chpt 3 v 3. But ok, I'll lay off the history if it makes you feel better.
I don't have faith in the scientists who believe in evolution, because there's no way to prove or repeat the means that led to the conclusion. U.T. is a good school, remember we're taking data now, not science. Ad hominems not needed please.
compgrad1 11 months ago

FreeSilio 11 months ago
@compgrad1 Sorry, Josephus never talked about christianity, excepting in a fragment of his "Antiquities of the Jews", which is considered by many philologists as a FALSE from middle age, so it's not a good proof, and it's all the historical evedence you got. We have so much more about evolution.
I think you use a double standard of evidence, trusting scientists only if they agree with your beliefs, and that's not ad hominem (I'm not insulting you!) but what I can say by your words.
FreeSilio 11 months ago 4
@FreeSilio You just don't want to accept that there is evidence and when I present something, you say it's false. Would you accept that Jesus' disciples cruel deaths as proof that they did not die for nothing. Would anyone die for something that they knew were not true. I don't think so. Again, you have nothing on evolution. Remember Ida, who you guys thought was a great discovery. She basically evaporated. Discovered in 1983 and revealed in 2009. Huh...I wonder why they did that... hmmm
compgrad1 11 months ago
@compgrad1 I don't say Josepphus "Testimonium Flavianun" is false. Scholars say it (Watch on Wikipedia). So the evidence for Jesus is very little, while the one for Evolution is overwheelming, but on your double standard you dont accept the latter.
Death for faith dont proof any truth, otherwise also muslim kamikezes should prove Allah, but I think you agree they're nothing but evidences for fanatism.
Ida is just a fossil. Maybe it's false (I dont know), but evo evidence remains overwheelming.
FreeSilio 11 months ago 2
@FreeSilio haha, I'm sorry, did you say wikipedia...? Sorry, but that's pretty funny.
You are getting the logic twisted bud, my argument was that those who saw and spoke to Jesus died for what they knew was true. You are mistaking muslim fanatism, of which they never spoke to or saw muhammad, are dying for. Where's the evo proof. I better be able to repeat it, by the way, else I'm not believing.
Yes, Ida was fake.
compgrad1 11 months ago
@compgrad1 You wonder why scientists made a mistake about one fossil (If it's really false, which I don't know)? Because people can be wrong! Who corrected their mistake? Other scientists, not religious people!
Science has a methodology which allows to correct mistakes, while religion has nothing like that. It just pretend to be right in his claims and no one is allowed to doubt it. That's why religion is flawed on the basis and will end as soon as fanatism and blind faith ends.
FreeSilio 11 months ago 3
@FreeSilio I'm just stating that some scientists and atheists are hoping to find one thing that they can use to show that evo is possible. The Bible hasnever been corrected. I agree fanaticism isn't very good, Jesus Himself said so. He wanted believers to be others centered because that meant they were being God Centered at the same time. As for faith ending, no. It will never end because people were designed and made to worship something. That's why we have tree huggers, crystal lovers, etc.
compgrad1 11 months ago
@compgrad1 Scientists don't need anymore evidence to support Evolution. The ones they have is already overwheelming. Much more than the very little one about the historical existence of Jesus.
The ones who sow Jesus (if he really existed!) died only for what they CONSIDERED as truth but i have to repeat -once more again!- that what people believe is not necessary true. That's why I made a comparison with muslim fanatism. The one of the first christians, indeed, was not different.
FreeSilio 11 months ago 3
@FreeSilio There is no evidence for evolution. I'd like to see some. No matter how many times I tell you, you don't understand or won't listen. But hey, I mean, you believe that someone would die for a lie. They saw the miracles, they heard Him talk, and even had His teachings. So you say that when He healed someone, his disciples were like... no, I did not see that man healed, it's my mind playing tricks on me. I am left speechless...
compgrad1 11 months ago
@compgrad1 I understood what you say (the first time you wrote!), but I simply know you're wrong! Wanna see evidence for evolution? Go to a museum (a true one!), read a book, talk with scientists, but mainly open your mind and leave your double standard of evidence.
I'd die for a lie? Please, don't joke with me! The one's dying for lies are just the religious fanatics like the ones you wrote about pointing them as "evidence" for your delusion.
Sorry, no more time to waste. Have a nice day.
FreeSilio 11 months ago
@FreeSilio Open mind = letting garbage in. That must mean no evidence, right?
I may have a critical mindset but never an open mind. Open mind is just a gimmick evolutionists use. Have a nice day dude!
compgrad1 11 months ago
@compgrad1 Ok. Keep your Jesus in mind and be happy :-)
FreeSilio 11 months ago
@compgrad1 OK lets list evidence for evolution fossil record, stages of embryos, observation of bacterial and cell evolution, the fact viruses evolve to combat vaccines, geological evidence, DNA structures and genomes, biodiversity, records of bananas long ago being hard shelled, and dog breeding is built on selection) and there is a whole lot more I'm just running out of space. Lets look at the evidence for creation, a 4000 year old story.
ravenheart93 11 months ago
@ravenheart93 Haeckel disproved. Viruses not alive. Bact.surviving bc of mutations reproduce, or they can be infected by viruses. DNA structure, really? Genomes? REally? DNA only loses info, never gains. mutation? Biodiversity is based on population and geography, i.e. adaptation. Bananas? Not familiar with that, nor ever heard of it. Dog breeding, exactly my point in pop and geography. Creation, no physical evidence, but we don't make it up either. It's a faith, and everything makes sense.
compgrad1 11 months ago
@compgrad1 Well I could spend my time going through every detail in-dept but unfortunately I don't have enough characters. Any biologist will agree and could probably add more to it. The thing is that science is not based on opinion nor does it favor a certain idea (i.e. god). Our understanding of evolution stem from observation and supporting evidence. You can't rehash a old Jewish myth and call it science you need evidence and years of peer review before it can even be called a theory.
ravenheart93 11 months ago
@ravenheart93 I expected more than the cards you just played by using wordplay. See, atheists like to use words like myth, mental, ignorance, flat earth--- to twist a good debate in order to shift morale to their side, when we Creation Science believers simply want to have an open discourse. There are several words we can use to flip the momentum to our side too. i.e. something from nothing, believers of 0x0=1, immorals--but I won't. I like good open discussions.
compgrad1 11 months ago
@compgrad1 Yes, me myself am an atheist but I know biologist who still believe in a god just not the creation story. I call a story that I find no basis in reality but try to answer a question, a myth. Nothing the problem is me and other scientist (even thou I'm not one yet) find it hard to believe in an idea without evidence. Faith is not a trait in science we doubt everything till sustainable evidence shows. Evolution doesn't say we come from nowhere it shows, species slowly progress over time
ravenheart93 11 months ago
@ravenheart93 You're becoming a scientist, WOW, that would be cool! here's the problem: Species slowly progress from what? Your scientist friend only believes part of the Bible, so how does he know the rest is true? See the problem? The Bible has never been disproved, never is, never will.
compgrad1 11 months ago
@compgrad1 Ya but I admit I'm not going into Biology instead going into Physics. Anyways to the subject species slowly progress ever since unicellular organisms evolved to multicellular. The Multicellular organisms adapted to changing environments till they became different species who developed niches and symbiotic relationship those niches ever since then became the driving force in evolution. She believes that there is a god but science is better at explaining the world.
ravenheart93 11 months ago
@ravenheart93 I guess I can understand why you guys believe evolution is fact, but I'll never be able to accept that the first unicellular organism your mentioned came into LIFE without any intervention. As a major of science you must understand the complexity of a simple protein.
compgrad1 11 months ago
@compgrad1 Yes I do understand and evolution doesn't take a higher power out of the context nor thous any theory in science. The only reason I myself am an atheist is that I feel like that existence was inevitable. There are still a lot of unanswered questions that need to be address and I feel like we already answers the question of where we came from. Going into physics I know most discoveries we made was in the last 20 years. In retrospect we are pretty ignorant of the universe.
ravenheart93 11 months ago
@compgrad1 I feel like the Bible STORIES are made up and base that on the fact that they are too absurd to be in the realms of reality but that's my opinion and I'm not trying to turn you into an atheist. All I got to say about that last statement is someone would say the exact same thing you just said about the Kalevala or the Qur'an.
ravenheart93 11 months ago
@ravenheart93 When you say Bible Stories, are referring to...? It's way too late for me to become an atheist ; )
I am stuck in my ways and my faith and I am loving every minute of it! You are studying physics, that's nice, must be really really really good in mathematics.
compgrad1 11 months ago
@compgrad1 As far as Bible stories I mean the story of Noah, Joan in the whale, exodus of Moses etc. etc.. I love religions I've studied theology most of my life. I have read the Bible cover to cover although the old testament made me sick and found the stories interesting but not realistic, I find a majority of Jesus philosophies great. I myself doubt Jesus holiness but I would like to sit down with the guy and have a peaceful talk.
ravenheart93 11 months ago
@ravenheart93 Did you know basically every culture has a flood story? As 4 Jonah, a japanese(?) man fell off board and was swallowed by a big fish, or whale, and later was retrieved alive, back in the 1940's(?). About sitting w/ Jesus and talking, you can do it right now. He'll show you once you're desperate enough and believe. In order to understand the O.T. you must know the history of the pagan cultures and how sick they were, God gave them chance after chance, then He had to act.
compgrad1 11 months ago
@compgrad1 Well just because lots of cultures have something in common doesn't make it real or else you would believe in magic, dragons, and immortality. Anecdotes sadly don't stand as evidence in science. The Jesus thing you might feel a connection with Jesus but I doubt you can sit down and have brunch together. Yes most pagan societies where cruel but so where a lot of Jewish, Christian, and Muslim societies. The term pagan is a umbrella term for non-Abrahamic religions.
ravenheart93 11 months ago
@ravenheart93 The pagans were so cruel they'd burn babies as sacrifices just to erect buildings. They'd have sex parties with various partners and the babies resulting from that would be burned up. That seems really cruel, way more cruel than a wipeout from war. You said you'd like to sit down with Jesus, I just followed up.
I don't believe in magic, dragons, but I believe in immortality. See, we think we are going to live forever, don't we? That shows we were made to be immortals.
compgrad1 11 months ago
@compgrad1 Thumbs up for mentioning our sex partys!
gaziltapig 10 months ago
@compgrad1 We only WISH we're going to live forever. Desires don't prove reality.
FreeSilio 10 months ago 5
@FreeSilio No, what I'm saying is eternity is engrained in our minds. I don't know about you but I don't think about death every single day. Desires don't prove reality but the reality proves the desire. And the reality is that we think we are immortals.
compgrad1 10 months ago
@compgrad1 That's only the way our mind protect us from fear.
You can think whatever you wish, but evidence is something else.
FreeSilio 10 months ago 2
@FreeSilio Ok, you can dodge and deny whatever you want but that's the evidence. We have eternity in our hearts just like the Bible says. Sorry bud, you lose.

The So-called war on terror is a hoax and this embarressing bullshit is incredible. Stand-up for sanity and put a stop to this once and for all.
TheJameySuede 1 year ago
@TheJameySuede Yes, they would have to have gone into the ark. The flood story is very popular; many cultures report about it. The record that shows everything was killed is the fossil bed. Most dinosaurs were small and manageable. During the flood they ate whatever their food preference was, maybe they were in hybernation... The modern atheist move has reduced the concept of the global flood and the church has allowed it. Sad.
compgrad1 1 year ago
@compgrad1 The global flood has been reduced for simple reasons........It's not true, If you think the earth is 6000 years old, there is no place in the future for you or any of your children, please die quietly away from people interested in advancing the human race.
TheJameySuede 1 year ago 2
@TheJameySuede "Can anyone answer to me if Dinosaurs came onto the "Ark"..." Read John Woodmorappe BA in Biology, a BA in Geology, and an MA in Geology. His main works are "Noah's Ark: A Feasibility Study" - "Studies in Flood Geology" - "The Mythology of Modern Dating Methods". He has also written several articles in creationist journals.
4GodSoLoves 1 year ago
@4GodSoLoves Oh brother...another sock. Too bad the flood was proven to be impossible mathematically. BTW "creationist journals" is an oxymoron...they are more properly referred to as dogma sheets
pontecanis 1 year ago 3
@pontecanis Okay, then don't read John Woodmorappe. I wasn't trying to start an argument. I was only trying to answering your question by pointing the Woodmorappe who is considered to be probably the best authority on the subject and who compiled the 1200 feasibility test studies as well as the peer reviews on the subject that concluded in the late 1800's. I figured if you wanted to know, he's the one to go to is all.
4GodSoLoves 1 year ago

God bless.
4GodSoLoves 1 year ago
@pontecanis But I would like to say in all fairness, that from what I've read (not that book, but one other) he didn't always agree with those he quoted, like Wiens for an example. It seemed to me that when he quoted these people, he only did so to explain that others support, or near support, his own conclusions, or to point out similarities and differences(it isn't possible to read all sources). I don't know about Henke's quote and I haven't read "The Mythology of Modern Dating Methods".

@4GodSoLoves Oh really? and where are his degree's from?
TheJameySuede 1 year ago
@TheJameySuede A Jesuit school in the Ukraine(no names there). There's something U have to understand about him. He often quoted Jan Peczkis, but that was him/birth name. There's a good reason for that. He was a Ukrainian promoting Creation Science during the time of the USSR. You had to be very careful about that in those days. In America, while in places like Penn. he was still a Russian citizen and probably somewhat concerned about KGB even here. My wife is from Latvia. She's got stories.

@AndyG792
Rock can mold itself into life? LOL What has that to do with Evolution? Evolutions is about how the life developed, not how it began. You mean abiogenesis. And that also has nothing to do with rocks...

Darwin just had ideas and studied various animals and came up with the best thoughts he could given the evidence at hand. The fossil and dna evidence in his views favor have gotten much more extensive since his time. The overwelming majority of scientist do believe in evolution in 2010.
