Well i'm playing through a line 6 spider 3 and I usually turn the treble and bass way up, keep the mids down to about a 3 or 4. Of course the gain is pretty high too and the insane setting :D

Spiders really dont ever agree with me...had some really bad experiences with them, they always seem to have something wrong with them, like the drive always cutting out. In my opinion, not worth the money [rather get a marshall] but thats opinion and personal experience.
