Surely this is just the argument from uncertainty and the teological argument for God's existance rolled into one? And how can we be sure anything is real? Cognito ergo sum... This is the only thing we can truly know- "I" must exist, else there'd be no "I" to do the thinking. But the rest could be a construct of said consciousness. If you base your argument on uncertainty, then surely anything goes, leaving the possibilities for the universe (and multiverse) as limitless as one's imagination?
@awildseanappeared i demonstrate the magnitude of uncertainty, because we live in it. we dont know anything but atheist say no theist say yes and everyone acts like they truly know. i demonstrate why i believe in god and what modern theism to me should be like. not anything goes. just the recognition of who and where you are and what is rational from your stand point. certainty will never exist (maybe) so never be certain. for all i know only i exist and you all are a dream.
So what you're trying to say is that because we cannot be 100% certain whether or not a theory is true (Despite the current evidence indicating that it is). We cannot use the theory to develop further theories and technolagies in the hope of advancing mankind? Effectively leaving us in a society devoid of progress.
Further that because you cannot understand the theories proposed and supported by evidence that a deity must have created the Universe?
@DieudonneSeal "these theories should stay as such, just theories. And not taught as actual truth and fact through media and educational systems as a way to disregard theism." - (from video). it seems the conflict here is you dont know the definition of theory. wiki it up.
@nanocalp I understand the defenition quite adequately and if you'd read my comment that understanding shines through. A theory is supported by the current evidence but is not assumed to be absolute truth. Evolution is not taught as absoute fact, but as the theory most suppported by the evidence and that currently best explains an aspect of the world we live in. It is taught in schools because if we did not teach theory students of biology would have very little to learn.
@DieudonneSeal teach it but dont make it the new religion. (something not proven but believed as absolute truth! and if u dnt believe ur wierd an different.)
@nanocalp That's precisely how it's not taught. It's taught as science, not as religion. Science is based upon certain principles. Science adapts it's view to fit the evidence we have available. It is not nessecarily 'absolute' truth but it may be. Attempts to disprove evolution are welcomed by the scientific community. Out of interest, what would you say to me if I said that I believe gravity pushes people away from the Earth rather than pulling us towards it?
You should do a serious study on the Big Bang Theory. Without a clear understanding, it may seem like chaos. There are a lot of facts supporting this and is the best explanation we have yet. By saying that it doesn't explain EVERYTHING so there must be a god is not a rational stance. I also recommend Sam Harris' book "The Moral Landscape".
@MrInsanityCheck i dont say that since its not 100% accurate you should believe in god, im saying people shouldn´t take theories as truth when at least in our life time they will never be proven, they´re to vast! and if they were proven it wouldn´t discard my beliefs. and they shouldn´t be used as a way of discarding traditional beliefs. like if we knew everything when its the opposite.. thanks on the book recommendation .. peace
@nanocalp " people need to be rational and accepting of all ideas,"
Thats truly Absurd.
Accepting all ideas is almost by definition Irrational. Since Most concepts Are contradictory and mutualy exclusive.
Hindus say a god set the earth on a turtle, Christians say you must accept Jesus is god or you go to hell Islamist says of you do believe jesus is god you go to hell.
thats not accepting true knowlage thats insanity!
PLEASE, Watch a video by same user, on critical thinking.
@Greathiway well like it says in my video the worlds for you to discover. but to me, my opinion, that video overlaps very many things and logical/rational points of view, and is pre-directional towards atheism is the only answer and only correct. people need to be rational and accepting of all ideas into mind, thats true knowledge!
@nanocalp "atheism is the only ans... " Well Atheism isnt an answer to anything beside a single position on one particular claim. That a god exists. So it certianly not only answer . But certainly atheism is the default position. No? We do not begin with the idea that any god exists, we first must be introduced to the concept and have it defined, before we can believe a concept. Till that time how can we believe. could you believe in darma , electrons, cosmic teapots till you heard about them?

@LetterKillethProject " Big bang theory came from satanic Kabbalah"
I though it was Monsignor Georges Lemaître. I stand corrected.

@nanocalp "pre-directional towards atheism"
No sure what this means but are you saying NOT believeing a claim such a 'a god exists' is not the default postion?
( I think not believing that claim is the default postion)

"If god dosent exist they´re wouldn´t be athiests"
Your saying if god didnt exist there would only be Thiest?
How does that make any sense? Why would belief affect the existence of your god?
