I miss that nose sun block. They started making it again a few years ago, but now I can't find it again. It was called Zinko or something like that. Came in all neon colors. You would wear it and it would look really cool, or over do it and look like a clown.
I remember seeing this is as a kid and thinking this dude was so unbelievably hot. I still think so! I just saw the whole movie again, I don't think I appreciated at that age how campy it is! It's really fun!
@Armadillo282000 Be sure to buy the DVD. If enough support is shown for this by sales, they'll rerelease it with special feaetures just like they do all other movies, the one that comes to mind is The Truman Show. It sold enough copies so they re-marketed a special feature DVD with all sorts of cool things. Imagine Back To The Beach with the preview on the DVD, and interviews from the cast, even Pee Wee.
@larryjackson4125 It sounds like you are criticizing her and the movie with your comment though. Why would that matter or take anything away from this movie? Anyway, why did you comment to me... what does your comment have to do with what I posted?
Okay, ummm, he is playing a character in a film - he never dressed like this or acted this way in real life. I knew him very well, and let's just leave it at that.
I'm not sure. He was still acting in 1995. This, "Back to the Beach, was 1987. He was at his hottest in the Bette Davis "Harvest Home" TV movie, where he wrestled in levi overalls.
IMDB shows him still alive, but, yes, the last credit was in 95. I think women would be attracted to his bod but turned off by his personality. If he'd just lie there in bed and shut the hell up, he'd be okay as a roll in the hay.
I've always wondered if women actually find this character sexy or not, because I suppose he looks the part, but in the movie he acts like a baffoon. Still, he's funny as hell. The actor nailed that part.
hes so hot...
