you should also show the after result. like how the skin/scar will look after the stitches are removed. after all... we want to know what the after appearance will look!!
I'm hoping you could answer this question for me. I had a few shave biopsies done and two moles came back with mild atypia. The PA said that would do a punch biopsy to get the margins/any remaining cells out. Is that good enough of a precautionary procedure or should I do an excision? A plastic surgeon talked to said I should get the entire area excised by a plastic surgeon. The moles weren't that big either so unsure what is good for protection in the long run. I would appreciate your response.
@holaitzhelen A punch removal of a small atypical mole can remove the mole fully and can be equivalent to excision. If the mole is larger, then excision is needed.
Just curious, why didn't you cauterize the edges of the punch before stitching closed? I just had one of these done last week.

How much does this procedure cost total for someone who's insurance will not cover it, visit+equipment+anasthesia+surgery?

Next time the patient is in, we'll take a scar photo. Skin heals very well with certain post procedure care.

Thank you for this video. I recently had two punch biopsy/removals, one on my side and one on the bottom of my left food. 6mm punch device used.

Local anesthesia is used so does not hurt. If you are worried, can ice the area for 10 min prior.
