  • I don't suppose he was allowed to create any of his own dance steps here. It's a far cry from his own moves.

  • This is the cutest, coolest thing I've ever seen. Go Michael go <3

  • hahaha the girl almost slaps his package at 0:26

    I miss Michael....

  • 2:52 Amazing Michael

  • king

  • Smooth Criminal before Smooth Criminal......Mike new something!!! Talk about predestination!!

  • Nunca dejara de maravillarnos... los pasos mas famosos de Michael Jackson los aprendió del claqué, de ahí pasos como el moonwalker...i love Michael, forever!

  • Pure talent.

  • haha love how the girl slid REALLY quickly to Mike's leg haha don't blame her! haha he was Irresistible! :P

  • Perfection

  • michael so sexyy <333

  • Genius- I think he'll give the angels in heaven a good run for their money!

  • I read a post on twitter that said Justin Bieber is more talented than Michael Jackson and I realized these people don't know Michael. LOL Justin Bieber doesn't have 1/10 th of Michael's TALENT.

  • @MJMedia09Returns Although, I think Gene kelly might have a few steps up on MJ (check rollerskating tapdance). There is no way in HELL Beiber has achieved anything near what MJ did.

Iconic look,(sorry mop haircut and hoodies don't count as iconic),

dance moves that no matter who does them people know who inspired them,(Can Beiber even dance?)

Songs that transcend generations in more ways than thinking "God that song as overplayed"

  • @Menuki Interesting I have a video of Gene Kelly PRAISING MJ's MOVEMENT. LOL MJ was so fluent at dance and it was NATURAL as he never had dance lessons. I bet he put these tap shoes on and just started dancing that's how gifted he was. I bet he could do ANY MOVE.

  • @MJMedia09Returns The Nicholas Brothers taught MJ and Janet tap dance.

  • @Spooni3 Did they? Very interesting but MJ had a natural talent for dancing as he always learned his steps with ease.

  • @Spooni3 mj is still better, just saying he can do everything

  • @DrMonkeyBoyJr Not everything. But he's great at what he does.

  • @Spooni3 fuck up what do you do hes better at everything

  • @DrMonkeyBoyJr At what he does, yes.

You really want to get into this?

  • @Menuki NO he don't sorry. Mj is better then all them guys he can do everything

  • @DrMonkeyBoyJr Sure. Let's have him do ballet like Nureyev or Baryshnikov at the age he was.

He's good at what he does. That doesn't take anything away from him.

  • @Spooni3 Dude hes the best ever because he can do 6 dance styles not 2 or 3. People don't know that so they think he can moonwalk and that's it.

  • @200damary Of course he can do more than moonwalk. He danced through all the choreography he had in the music videos.

Is he one of the best dancers of all time? Damn right. Fred Astaire himself named MJ as his dancing successor.

But he's not Fred Astaire. Not Baryshnikov. Not the Nicholas Brothers.

    But they're not MJ either.

They're all great at what they do. Period.

  • wow el baila de todo y baila bien :)

  • Talent personified. The greatest.

  • Michael J. Jackson GENIUS!!!!

  • Elvis was an Amature Compared to MJ mike can do everthing

  • Ma che bravo! E' geniale!!!

  • How a man could have that much talent is almost incomprehensible...

  • Beautiful life

  • Man, this guy has so much class and talent...

0:35 he got women at his feet lol

  • michael jackson...the man who is NOT dead....

    beLIEve

    :p

  • There really is no one quite like him...

    And there never will be

  • This Is My Hero :)

  • The Nicholas Brothers, where far more better dancers then Michael Jackson ever was.If you don't believe me check them out for yourself.

  • @armyrangeractive Instead of trying to put down MJ, why don't you just say they're all great dancers.

  • @armyrangeractive I have videos on my channel of some of THE GREATEST performers of All time GIVING MJ his props. I have a VIDEO OF JAMES BROWN, SAMMY DAVIS, GENE KELLY, FRED ASTAIRE. I'm sure the Nicholas Brothers would have said the same. MJ was one of a kind and give HIM HIS PROPS!!

  • @armyrangeractive

Nicholas Brothers were the dancers, it's their profession.

Michael Jackson was a singer (who could really dance well, but it was not his only occupation.).

    A strange comparison!

  • @TrueLife19921

Yes Michael could dance, sing, write, produce and just about anything else but better then anyone else. Fred Astaire had said after his Motown performance that he was 'hell of a mover' and when he was little told him he would be a special star. Before him there were singers who could dance and dancers who could sing but he could do both with equal ability. Like Michael Peters said 'He is a dancer in his soul'

  • @armyrangeractive lmao mike is better then them wtf is wrong with you your just a hater this dude is a boss

  • Wut couldn't he do

He could sing, dance, draw, write his own music

    GENIUS

  • Omg, I didn't know he could do that.

  • Was there anything that MJ couldn't do?!

When God invented Michael Jackson, he was really showing off :D

  • LOLL 3:08 Look to s2 Michael s2 ... kkkkkk lol

  • Wow , ! He is even amazing at tap dancing, !! <333 HE IS AMAZING AT EVERYTHING <33333

  • He kinda dresses like he did in Smooth Criminal

  • @michaelarcangelo99 That,s because that was bases on this and this is bases on the scene the girl hunt from Fred Astaire. MJ made smooth crim video as a tribute to Fred Astaire who died that very same year, Astaire and Gene Kelly were his dance idols;-) Fred mostly

  • @Choefoe oh...

  • This is the guy who MADE the moonwalk. To him tap dancing must be easier than breathing.

  • @betweencountries he didn't make the moonwalk - Bill Bailey did he just made it better.....as he makes everything better :)

  • HIS BODY MOVES WITH THE NATURAL FLUIDITY OF WATER, GENIUS, AND WITH NO TRAINING!! PSHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • Gosh!.....Absolutely brilliant! He definetly always loved tap dance,in fact He did some on his own style in some of his famous videoclips and performances too.

    Nobody moves like Michael,is a fact!I love tap dancing and Astaire,his teacher,but I love far more Him,sorry. ;-P

  • 1:22-1:37 Just Made Me Almost Cried His Voice Was Just so Cute OMG !! I Love You Michael Jackson

  • So talented

  • Fred Astaire is the teacher, Michael Jackson is the student - please remember this when you watch.

  • @ellechick13 And in the end, MJ became King. No one has to remember that, because everybody knows.

  • @ellechick13

and a student can surpass their teacher.... No one forgets Fred Astaire but Michael was on a whole other level

  • @ellechick13

Bill Bojangeles Robinson is the GOD!!!!!

  • @ONCLEJULLIAN agreed :P

  • @ellechick13 don't forget GENE KELLY of course =p

  • Amazing............

  • Mighty Michael!! What a talent he had...

  • Also keep in mind here that MJ learned this routine in one week. He said he hated the TV show because he felt he couldn't properly perfect the routines in that short amount of time. Looks perfect to me!!

  • Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra you have nothing on Michael! Is there anything Michael wasn't phenomonal at!!!

  • Without a doubt, he has just doesn't have a weakness as an entertainer.

  • MJ and Fred Astaire. Greatest showmans in history.

  • I wonder if all MJ fans have seen this .. and other old clips of MJ dancing. He could do it all.

  • Wow! I had never seen this before. Amazing!

  • His first name should have been Incredible ! No wonder MJ is in the National Dance Hall of Fame.

  • wow, i never knew he did that, let alone tap dance, he's so epic

  • Comment removed

  • Wow the opening song is Charles Mingus' Goodbye Pork Pie Hat! Michael was HIP!

  • Love you Michael your sweet spirit and incredible will never be matched and will be forever missed.. I love you so much. R.I.P.

  • 2:17 - 2:20, he's caried this move throughout his career to the end, I've been wanting to know how to do this, I knew it was a tap dance, he does it longer in the black and white video.

  • le voir évoluer comme ça en 75 ou 77 ne fait que confirmer son talent iné...

Michael jackson " danseur dans l' ame" bien sur! Michael Peters ne sy était pas trompé......

    Je trouve meme ce Michael la meilleur que celui des année 80 d une certaine manière.... Les claquettes, la fluidité...tout tout!!! king of dance forever;;;;;;

  • ...the roots of "Smooth Criminal".

  • 21 people can't tap dance

  • Look at this guy... Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, and Frank Sinatra all in one. He could do anything anybody else could do, only better! Unbelievable.

  • After reading your comment, I wonder if you've ever seen Mr. Astaire on the dance floor...

  • @1Kraxmaskin I have indeed -- Fred Astaire is obviously one of the top five ever, no doubt. My point is that MJ drew off of him, Gene Kelly, James Brown, etc. and created something entirely his own which IMO was even better. Not trying to disparage the classics in any way by saying that -- in fact, I feel he stood on the shoulders of giants to get to the point of greatness that he did.

  • Was there anything this man COULDN'T do!!!??

  • You should always surround yourself with people who know more about the industry your in than yourself and Michael was lucky enough and obviously talented enough for that to happen. He knew James Brown, Elizabeth Taylor, Katherine Hepburn, Sophia Loren, Liza Minnelli, Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire and Sammy Davis Jr. I don't think a person who is studying entertainment can have better teachers than the ones Michael had. Studied the greats and became greater.

  • Ooohh Shiit!!!!

  • wow! young smooth criminal! haha

  • @EXPL96 insparation, the girl hunt ballet, from Fred Astaire

  • wat yr is this video?

  • Modeled on his hero - Fred Astaire. Thanks, Fred. Not many people knew that Michael could tap dance like this. Welcome to his talent. The boy (and I'll always think of him as a "boy" even though he was 11 years older than me) could do a lot. All that other stuff was extraneous. People forget.

  • Would anyone know the name of this song? If it has a name?

  • @1Adr1an6

It's "Get Happy". You can find a recording of Judy Garland singing this.

  • "he's got rhythm, he's got rhythm, he's got rhythm... "

Michael:"Who can ask anything more??" then the jump...

    L.O.V.E. it! RIP MJJ

  • I remember the smooth criminal video... Michael was so smooth, not a criminal...

  • So Sexy!!!!!

  • Thank you Fred Astaire

  • what his the song at the beginning?

  • Now as soon as you saw MJ and dance in the same title you knew this was serious business lol.

  • In the 2econd video at the end, what kinda shoes are they, that he's wearing? :O

  • The Greatest of all time Michael Jackson. Nobody comes close!!!

  • :)

  • Anybody else feel like this is a prequel to "Smooth Criminal"?

  • @A86 this is a little tribute to Fred Astaire so yeah I fell the same way

  • I love his dancing!! Amazing!!!!

  • Never before seen by me, and now it shall forever be remembered!! Michael's legacy shall always reign!

  • Whoaw, i knew he was good in doing leg tricks and stuff, but that was some tap dancing! So talented at everything he does, i'm so jealous lol

  • MJ is truly the entertainment KING!!! No-one in this lifetime will fill his shoes....

  • i'm sorry but thats just absolutely ridiculous.

    *shakes head in disbelief

  • 0:23 - 0:46 that was hella sexy!

  • I love this he was and always will be king of pop

  • If only Judy Garland could comment on this.

  • Holy cow... O_O

  • Dios mio!!! ¿¿¿ hay algo que este hombre hiciese mal encima de un escenario???... I believe micke you were a gift of Heaven. Thanks for every single step you did, every song, every kiss you send us. WE LOVE YOU MICHAEL. YOUR LEGANCY IS WITH US FOREVER.

I´LL WISH..., WE´D COULD EVERY ONE US GIVE YOU A MINUTE OF HAPPINESS IN YOUR HEART, MAYBE THIS WAY YOUR LIFE HAD WAS BETTER. GOD BLESS YOU.

  • is there anything our king of music can't do? oh man... he's just the man!

  • His VOICE!! DEAR LORD THAT VOICE!!

    ANGEL FACE!!

Those feet were the most talented to ever meet the dance floor.

well in his case FLOAT, SPIN, MOONWALK..ect ;)

  • King of Love...♥

    King of Music...♪

    King of Dance...♫

Michael ♥ Forever The KING ♪

  • @PixieDust1958 when he was black and never raped kids.

  • @rockermac5 Get your self educated on the subject before you talk crap like this.

  • @bublifuk I like his music, its on my i pod. I stand by my previous comment.

  • @rockermac5 I wasn´t talkint about his music. You have no right to accuse someone without having evidence. Sneddon and his 80 detectives couldn´t prove a thing and the jury found him innocent for a reason. I doubt you personally can prove something otherwise so stop with these disgusting accusations.

  • @bublifuk I stand by my previous statement.

  • @rockermac5 doesn't matter if you stand by it or not it's still wrong.

  • @kayinesstube everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

  • @PixieDust1958 Exactly xD

  • huh..what else u want him to do??!!!..even tap dancing he did and perfectly .

  • Lightest feet in dancing. Ever. Dude can float.

  • i wonder how many times he fell up those stps when practicing..but..it doesn't matter becasue he killed it..only MJJ!!..you're one in a miliion

  • YEA.. HE'S NOT FRED ASTAIRE BECAUSE HE'S MICHAEL JACKSON, HE'S THE KING.. THE BEST SHOWMAN , ENTERTAINER THE WORLD HAS EVER KNOWN.. PERIOD, LOVE YOU MJ R.I.P

  • Michael Jackson. Need I say more?

This man isn't just the King of Pop, he should be crowned the King of EVERYTHING!

  • @rhythmplanet2010

that's right, he's no Fred Astaire because he is MICHAEL JACKSON, the most versatile dancer the world has ever seen..

  • *speechless* : D

  • the first smooth criminal

  • @draivableCj that,s what I said ;-)

  • this is an amaxing video. thank god for technology

  • Ya know...for a kid who never had professional lessons in dance...LET ALONE tap dancing (it's a true art) and (as said in his book) with VERY little rehearsal...this is absolutely freaking phenomenal!!

I simply cannot imagine not having taken tap, not having time to master the steps and pulling off such a performance! One done with such EASE and grace. Yes, Michael, YOU certainly have rhythm...among all other musical type talents! Geez!

  • Go,MJ ,go!!!

  • was the 1st move the time step?

  • What happens at 3:14? Did Michael complete the split? Anyone have that footage!!?

  • @buzzialdrin

no he didn't it was part of the jackson variety show and they cut that off right at that point in the air and went to the next skit. you could look it up im not quite sure which episode it was. maybe 6 or 5. but im positive it was the variety show

  • @Cinnamon815 Yep, its the Jacksons Variety show for CBS in1976. I have it on DVD.

  • he"s got rhythym all right!!!

  • i want to be those girls at 37

  • @j5lover32543 It,s from Astaire,s Band Wagon, he used that again in Smooth crimiminal Same suit, girl with a dress and gloves likethis ;-) but then the whole barscene of Bandwagon-the girlhunt

  • i love this so much he could do it all <3

  • i don't think that i blinked through that video

    he is amazing!

  • i love this he could do it all

  • OMG, little Smooth Criminal!

  • Not king of pop. MJ should be remembered as KING

No one had more talent than this man in history.

He's the king. Fucking legend man.

Elvis Frank Sinatra Madonna you name them MJ can make them look like a fool

  • @MJandBeatles4life I really don't think MJ may make elvis or sinatra look like a 'fool', for lack of better word. though it would be true for madonna.

  • @MJandBeatles4life Preach Man :)

  • @MJandBeatles4life Your so right.. I hate when people say that Elvis was better.. Elvis.. ELVIS.. Elvis was an Amature Compared to MJ !

  • OMG IN THE END!! 3:08 ...he got the spin move in his life from this fred astaire tap dancing practice .

  • after the vid ended i just noticed my mouth open...=O

  • OMG this was absolutely amazing!

  • Comment removed

  • This is amazing

  • very very beautiful vidéo !!

    i love mj =)

  • Truly Amazing!

  • A preview of what was to come. And, what an gorgeous, incredible preview this was!! As Slash said, "When it comes down to it, you can have 60 choreographed dancers up there and you know which one Michael is." There is nobody even close to his talent!!

  • Wow!!! Michael Jackson was an insanely talented dancer to say the least. On a side note he was on of very few music entertainers that was actually better than their backup dancers. Artists of today don't have nothing on Mike when it comes to dancing.

  • Truly Amazing dance performance! Michael is perfectionist as Always!

Thank you very much, your new video brightens my day and brings smile to my heart.

    LOVE.

  • I'm speechless...
