  • I like the spanish version better :D

    English version is good too

  • where can i download the english version of this for free?

cookies if anyone can do that and get me fukai mori in english for free too

  • translating asian languages into english is really tough. Our grammars are totally opposite to begin with. gj

  • @thorahn96 Very it backwards e.e

  • man this song is NOT as dark as people said it was....dang grow some. and now google wants to correct my english?! how DARE they?!? oh, that isn't how you spell people...disregard.

  • @Braianan213

my guess, its the japanese version, i never knew the English translation til recently and i always thought it sounded like a dark and sad song, now i realize its just a sad song, so my guess, it depends on the tone of the person singing it

  • @highlander5523 hmm... i suppose i would have to agree with you.

  • I don't get it.. Why does Inuyasha have a dilike button..?

  • this in english is not exactly what I like.

  • personally i think that the japanese version sounds a lot better.

  • What kind of annoys me about this is the guitar was done wrong in the verse's....besides that this was awesome

  • i like the Japanese speaking better, it seams to go along better in my opion

  • English version always sounds hella weirdd >_< Wtf

  • Is this a legit english version or just a fandub?

  • @AKB48kaze97 It's Do As Infinity that's singing it. :)

  • @The4DeadSouls U'r wrong. It's an italian rock band called "Name". :)

  • @cloudvay no it isn't. -.-

    1. I am frickin stalking do as infinity. I know it's them.

    2. ROCK that isn't telling you ANYTHING?!

    3. It's Japanese not Italian.

    4. Don't know it? please do not reply. -.-

  • @The4DeadSouls Be serious. Do I have to copy you cover, tracks and credits of Name's cd with this track? :) Name covered also "My will" (in english), while Max Alto sang Change the world (always the english version one) both for the italian edition of Inuyasha. Check out the credits if you don't trust me.

    3. This link it's ENGLISH not japanese. Do you hear that? ;)

  • @The4DeadSouls Please, take a minute to read this:

    - Go to 3xW dot discogs dot com

    - type "name (8)" in the search field

    - the first (and only) result is the album I mentioned to you.

  • @The4DeadSouls As you can read:

"Name" is a rock group cosisting of Michela Capurro, Stefano Brandoni and two others. Their self titled debut album, produced at Rodgers Studio (MN, Italy) consists of 14 tracks. "My Will" and "Deep Forest" are covers of J-Pop songs (by "Hitomi" and "Do As Infinity") that featured on MTV Italy for the Italian Dub of the Inuyasha Anime series.

    So, 1) you're a bad stalker, dude! Have a nice day. ;)

  • @cloudvay As I said.

Name did NOT sing this one.

    Do as Infinity did.

    -.-

They have done covers on this song and this is their cover.

-.- omg, dude. you even said yourself that they are doing the ITALIAN cover. yet, if you listend to this and then the japanese you'll hear that it is DAI that's singing it.

    1) I am not a dude. -.-

  • @The4DeadSouls plin plon! The singer of this version is Michela Capurro! THIS is the Name's cover, not a DOA ones. BTW DOA *NEVER* sing fukai mori in english (whata a bad fan DOA have...)! Listen Name's cover and then this. IT'S-THE-SAME-SONG. Stop joking and be serious. If u don't recognize that yet, well it's just your problem (maybe you HAVEN'T listened the Name's version, right?).

  • @The4DeadSouls

And I said that Name sang Deep forest FOR the italian version of Inuyasha, that is quite different to say that they sang it in ITALIAN, u understand?

What a waste of time. There are none so deaf as those who will not hear. Bye!

  • @The4DeadSouls Sorry, every DOA is DAI (damn phone).

  • @cloudvay that explais alot.. -.- And here you call me stupid, over and over.. -.-

  • By any chance could you put up a download link?

  • This song is so much better in Japanese.

  • cool

  • I HATE THIS !! THIS HAS NOTHING ON THE ORIGINAL VERSION.

I'm glad that you guys translated it or whatever , but Fukai Mori is a deep and emotional song ( and also sung a little better. This sounds like karoke type shit )

  • lol diz song!

  • this is better than the japanese version, well the instruments i guess

  • I got 31 likes!Thanks guys!

  • Idiot me just realized how good of a song this would be for a Kingdom Hearts AMV Like if you agree

  • OK!! Lady Gaga taught me to be different Ke$ha taught me to be myself and not care what others think Do as infinity taught me to explora and enjoy it Bruno Mars taught me do anything for that 1 person Eminim taught me life is hard but I need to try over and over Taylor Swift taught me not everyones gonna treat me perfect Bob Marley taught me to live life coated in peaceund me Owl City taught me to notice surroundings Music taught me to love MOST IMPORTANTLY! • @44Winterwonderland ya do mea big favor never be mean to the cookmie monster or the guy is the can on that last one

  • @kagomelover1000 Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? But then again the sound that i dont understand is sweet & soft..

  • I like the lyrics

  • Comment removed

  • i love japanese one better this one sounds weird in english thumbs up if you agree

  • i think this the english version would be wayyyy better without this person singing it -_- seriously

  • @Anime1122331 I'm pretty sure it isn't... someone said this is an Italian band called Name, and the original is by a Japanese band called Do As Infinity. Still, this is a decent cover.

  • @LovelyLullabyx They're wrong. The singer for Do As Infinity also sings in English. This is the English version made by her.

  • @SuP3rNo0l3 really i didnt noe dat at all

  • wow this is awesome. It isnt exactly like the japanese version which makes it even more amazing.

  • I really love this song but the voice is definitely not the best... Or the worst thank goodness

  • this isn't bad at all ...not bad

  • INUYASHA IS SOOOO HOT!!!!!!Like this if you agree!!!!

  • @parowanfans101 Sesshomaru honeyy :)

  • @parowanfans101 I agree, when i was younger i on'y use to obsess over Sesshoumaru but now that i'm older.... Inuyasha is a waaay better dude to have as a bf than sesshoumaru XD by a LAND SLIDE! don't get me wrong he's still drop dead hot as well.. but inuyasha has got the stuff.

  • @MoonScar Yes but I have to say Sesshoumaru has an AWESOMELY FLUFFY TAIL!!!!!!!!!

  • @parowanfans101 he does and a very cute tail ^w^ but not like inuyasha's tiny ears^-^

  • @2TalentedTwinsTV He does have cute tiney ears!

  • @parowanfans101 its not a tail its his mononoke ^-^

  • @moonlight9913 I have to agree there!XD

  • @moonlight9913 O WAIT!!! its Mokomoko sry bout dat! late at night and tired... :D

  • Great song..

  • I did Natsuhiboshi in English and Japanese and my friend saw it.Now he wants me to do this song in Japanese,so I'm currently working on learning the lyrics lol.Loved the video but honestly,it sounds better in Japanese if you ask me.

  • This kinda sucks. No offence to anyone, but JAPANESE MAKES EVERYTHING SOUND BETTER

  • all im hearing is wah wah... ppl need to stop crying over nothing. this isnt a real song more or less. its just to help u understand the lyrics. if it wasnt for this version of this song most ppl wouldnt even know what its says or about. so be grateful haters.

  • it doesn't sounds right in english...

  • now that i understand the meaning , i love this song more and more ...!!! <3

  • Who sings this version of the song?

  • pretty

  • People sound really stupid complaining that it's not the "accurate English."

They didn't "ruin" anything, You guys sound like ignorant retards.

    This is from the Italian version of Inuyasha. The band is called Name. They sung the English version of My Will as well. People do covers all the friggin time. Japanese do English songs too. >.>;;

    =.=;;;

  • I can understand perfectly, I like this version much better then in japaneese. :3 thumbs up, a jillion times!

  • @thebluemoonmermaids

I'm so in love with this version too! I just LOVE IT! :D

  • i knew i rememberd it from inuyasha xD

  • I looked this up becuase you can barely understand what she's saying!!

    Thank you

  • me encanta esta cancion gracias X subirla!!!!!!!!!!!

  • did you sing this?

  • @KitKatSkitty N

    LOL

    No, she didn't

  • I think you made a big effort but I didn't like it. I'm sorry. Anyway I'll give you thumbs for your effort :)

  • This song reminds me of Ankoku no Tubasa from Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch...

  • this song speaks to me it tells me to go out for sushii but come home wasted [jk] it tells me to reach for blah blah blah blah blah blah fuck all that! this song is awsome

  • WTF

  • Bl So.... WMG Thinks they can leave the English version up, but not the Japanese version, which is better in my opinion.... xGrowlsx we gotta fight! >.< WMG Can't steal our good music!

  • OMG. Nihongo!!! No Eigo o!! Warui!

  • I'm a linguist and I can tell you for a fact that this is not the direct translation from the Japanes version. I believe that it is most likley way off. But unfortunatly I am linguist specializing in Middle Eastern languages so I onl recognize 2 words from the Japanese version based on my very limited knowledge of Japanese

  • inuyasha forever!<33 :D

  • literally crying. oh how i miss this song <3

  • they replaced the shakuhachi w/ a fuckin harmonica.

  • @CapnKeys I KNOW! it isn't nearly as good!

  • wow i love this song

  • tina soooo needs to sing this

  • Anyone else think this is the best song ever :3 , Thumbs Up .

  • who sings this version

    ?

  • Can you please put up a download link?

  • Well I, for one, like the English version AND the Japanese version just the same. They're both awesome, they both have deep meanings, and the singer does a good job on both of them (I'm pretty sure it's the same person singing, as this band has been known to sing their songs in English as well).

  • This song is so great! I love both versions too! They both are great in my opinion!^-^

  • I love this songs messege

  • i like both versions, alot of people say the english versions suck altogether... but I think both are great and personally I see alot of meaning in both. The japanese version still has a better feel to it. Either way I like it :D

  • Anybody know who's singing this version?

  • my only comment is this. badass song is badass. specially if you look between the lines.

  • i feel alone in the world i do have my family but they dont get me i need to find a guy out there that will be nice to me and keep me safe will lisin to me when i take bout my dearms

  • @kagomelover1000 No such thing I'm afraid lol :)

  • @PusoPimp now i am sad boo-hoo

  • @kagomelover1000 Yeah, it kinda sucks when nobody gets ya. Tough to make friends, gets annoying when people feel sorry for ya, and life is a bucket of shit :) Sucks for you especially, since all men wanna do is penetrate ya lol :)

  • @PusoPimp soo is your life easy or hard like mine

  • @kagomelover1000 Huh, interesting question. I don't have an easy life I can tell you that for sure, but depends on what you mean by hard. It sucks thats for sure, but it's always been really bad so I kinda grow accustomed to it, almost. Strange philosophical question, if life's like living in a pool of pihrannas that will always bite you in the ass, but after a while you learn to take the pain, does it still really hurt that bad? Odd analogy but whatever.

  • @PusoPimp no matter how long we live stuff still hurts

  • is this really what this means

  • People give this English version crap, but I like it. It has a very deep meaning if you will look deeper at the lyrics. Of course I like the Japanese version better, but I like this version very much still

  • ew.i like the Japanese better

  • inuyasha is the best!!! I've learnt to draw because of that serie. I love it!!

  • INUYASHA ROCKS!!!! I still need to watch the rest...I got to the last episode (167) when they almost get naraku....after that is it the movies?

  • @realghost164 No, they actually made new episodes called InuYasha the final act, you can watch them in japanese with english sub on hulu. I really recommend watching them.

  • tell me is this really what it means realyy

  • Ughh , i like the Japanese one better :/ #ThumbsUpIfYouAgree

  • i like the Japenese version better........it has an actual strong feeling and I think the voice sucks bt the video was good and entertaining........AWESOME VID DisneyVillian

  • for some reason this reminds me of Micheal Jackson

  • Yeah original version obviously better BUT, good to have it in a language I already understand so it can have meaning. Need to learn japanese xD.

  • i like japanese verison beter

  • ...These lyrics don't go very well with the song. It's great and all, but the lyrics simply don't match.

  • this english version sucks!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is definately not the real song chisai means small and they said look around and aoi means blue but they said things are passing and changing

  • @pianoandsun

Japanese is such a poetic language and so differend from English that it is nearly impossible to make a good translation that fits with the music and has the same meaning as the Japanese version. As for chisai and aoi, they translated chisai as 'little' (could we've seen it if it were little?) and for aoi they have used a poetic translation (the colors of the sky)

  • @JunsuiShinzou yeah, i was wondering about that, cos those lyrics didnt seem to make much sense. do you know what a "better" translation of those words would be?

  • @shymama8

Sorry, I don't. I happened to know those words, but I don't have enough knowledge of Japanese to make a translation and I haven't searched for a translation that 'fits better together' yet. The translations I did find from the Japanese version didn't have a flowing line either, but I haven't searched a lot yet so there's still hope :P

  • @JunsuiShinzou ive found a translation that seems to be a lot more in depth than the english dub. it makes sense though, cos there really is no way to to sing it all in english. it would have the same flow.

well it wont let me post the link. so i will copy/paste and see if it will fit.

  • @shymama8 here is the first part of the translation:

    first verse:

I'm sure that the heart I left behind

still lies hidden in the heart of the deep, deep forest.

Exhausted, without the strength to search

people vanish into the infinite darkness.

If it's so small, I wonder if I can see it even now?

    * As we live on, we lose a little bit more. Shrouded in falsehoods and lies, we stand frozen to the spot, unable to cry out...

  • @shymama8 second verse: The days pass by and change, without us even realizing how blue the sky really is. Overcoming that made-up scheme, we live the present, and our rusted hearts begin to beat again! If we can find the rhythm of time, we can fly once again We live our lives wandering to the ends of the earth. Believing (in you?), now I begin my journey with you, in search of the light. * Repeat
  • ...We live our lives

wandering to the ends of the earth.

    Closing off

    the way back,

    we walk on for eternity.

We live our lives standing frozen to the spot,

unable to cry out, for eternity...

  • It's not that I don't like eng dub. I prefer it most times really, but ....I like the Japanese voice in the original. Not to say this is bad. I think it has it's own charisma to it, I suppose.

  • @#$%^&&**(*&(*^&(^&%*O&

  • o((;>口<;))oあのぉっ

  • are those the real words from the japanese one??

  • @Foxfang27 No to all 3

  • @DisneyVillain It drives me crazy that they didn't make this with the accurate english translation! I hate when they change the words!

  • @aralearachel then i wouldn't rhyme and it won't be cool -.-''

  • @SomePinkGirl I'm one of those original fans. Botching the original of a foreign song grates on my nerves. The song isn't about rhyming, it is about HOW she sang it, the tenderness of her tone and the way she built on previous lines. Rhyming for me is only nice when in poems. In songs, I could care less.

  • @aralearachel false. most songs rhyme. that sounds cool. have you heard a song that doesnt rhyme? D: horrible

  • @SomePinkGirl I've heard plenty! A lot of rock songs I listen to don't rhyme in sound. They LOOK alike, but when sung, don't sound similar. I'm just saying, if someone's argument that a translation of a song is better than the original because it rhymes, then it feels like the translation isn't as striking as the original. It doesn't have the same impact. *shrug*

  • @aralearachel whatever you know I just don't care anymore. *turns away*

  • @aralearachel well atleast it's in english.. >.< IDK bout u but listnin 2 a foreign language wld make me craaazy

  • @44Winterwonderland XD LOL I guess it would to some. But I LOVE foreign languages, just hearing them makes me smile. And accents. So it doesn't bother me. I hope you at least like this version of it though. ;) Enjoy!

  • @aralearachel Well i honestly hate it to but i still they do a good job on almost matching what the meaning of the song is suppose to be so dont be to much of a hater lol :p or just keep listening to the Japanese version okay

  • @aralearachel LoL literal Japanese translation to English would be choppy, still. Either the artist used a crappy translator, or they did the best they could to rewrite it to actually make more sense to Americans.

  • @Frostmourne79 That's true, I admit. I'm still a pro-Japanese fan!

  • @Foxfang27 yea

  • @oldedrick KOOLIO!

  • @Foxfang27 yes thay are ican tell

  • @sesshomaru99911 oh ok!!!

  • @Foxfang27 i speak a little Japanese and yes its the translation i still think the Japanese version is better

  • @Foxfang27 theyre similar. but not the sameee

  • 1st:is that u singing?? 2nd: are those the real words from the japanese one??

  • @CupcakeKillar then perhaps you can explain the 1142 likes and only 25 dislikes?

  • Hey hey, this isn't that bad. There's no need to be rude about it, jesus. Keep your comments to yourself really. -_-''

  • @TheJessickaaah I agree, I kinda like this =A=

  • Who sings this? Is it Do As Infinity themselves or some random person covering it?

  • I like this song better in japanese but i do lke the chorus of this song

  • i love this song it is good in japanese but it is also good in english. I love it, now I can learn japanesse!!!

  • this singer sounds like shes cold. japanese is the best version.

  • umm the english lyrics are all wrong thats not the real translation

  • she kinda sounds like shakira

  • Does anybody know those chords being played at the bridge. My ears leave me to believe that the first chord is an open D major but I don't know the other 2

  • I read the "real translation" and it's nowhere close to the lyrics in this version. That said I enjoyed this version of the song.

I actually found myself singing this to myself at work last night.

To who ever sang this: Give it another shot and it will be golden.

  • was this even done by a pro? if so they they are not very good in my opionion. why change the instrumental even a little..and the constant wavering in her voice makes the song less appealing than its japanese counterpart to me.

  • Ugh! Thank the gods I found this. I've wanted to see the englich lyrics forever. The actual music in this could be a ton better though. Still, english! Yay!

  • yuck i like the japanese version better :P

  • Who sings this? I've been hearing this version for years, but I have no idea who the singer is. ;w;

  • Beautiful

  • Me like japanese version better.....

  • whats with WMG killing the japanese version but leaves the English version up?

makes me think they just hate epic Japanese songs

i like the english version though

  • @nik10hedgehog WMG ruins japanese anime themes?

  • @DisneyVillain every time u look up fukai mori in Japanese a WMG message shows in every Fuaki Mori vid

  • @DisneyVillain i think she means they remove the songs. yea i have come across MILLIONS with no audio tracks cuss of WMG and copyright issues

  • @DisneyVillain yes

    they did ruin japanese anime

  • @animechan1able OMG WMG is planning musical domination.

  • @nik10hedgehog I found a video on here that shows the lyrics of the Japanese version... They haven't taken it of yet so i can show it 2 u if wanna....

  • I have been trying 2 add the japanese version but it wont allow me

Go 2 my page and look 4 the video of fukai mori and it has the japanese lyrics on it

  • is this a dude or a chick that sings this? sounds like a chick but it could go either way...

  • @ShamanSpirit09 It's a chick.

  • the English words and the music just doesnt match.. Japanese versions so much better, even though i cant understand what there saying lol

  • @JaeChoi94 i feel the same way

  • @SilentKilla242 yeaa..

  • @JaeChoi94 uhm well... in all the songs translated in other languages the words never match... but I dunno, I do prefer this one ;)
