hahhaha the beginning is awesome (I have split ends: I must not be perfect!!!!). I met a girl once with long auburn hair, she was very short and a bit weird. Not beautiful in the typical sense of the world but I just feel madly in love because of how she acted. She was happy all the time, fascinated by anything, tons of hobbies but liked being alone. Very honest and "pure". To this date I keep thinking of her, no other girl can compete.

This is so true! I got in a fight with this guy and he called me fat, I was 5'2 and 115 pounds. It really got in my head so I stopped eating for about 3 weeks, and when I don't eat for a day it makes me sick and I hurl. So I lost like 12 pounds in 3 weeks, and the guy that I had the biggest crush on was looking at me in 2nd period, then he came up to me after class. He was like "you look different and you've been distant lately I miss the old you ) :" and I opened my eyes. There is no perfect!

Perfection is an ideal that people come up with. In ways, it can be helpful (setting goals for oneself, ie, I want to improve my grade by the end of the semester) and in other's, it's destructive (I am too fat, I need to stop eating). In either case, the real perfection in itself is unattainable.

I used to sit in front of this one girl in high school who kept on complaining about how much her life sucked, she had a cell phone, wore make-up, fancy clothes, and still wasn't satisfied. It was kind of annoying. I didn't have any of that, no cell and my clothes where from Wal-Mart. But YOU are a strong individual.

The worst way to live life is to be denied or deny true friendships and loving compassion of another. This is so true! I got in a fight with this guy and he called me fat, I was 5'2 and 115 pounds. It really got in my head so I stopped eating for about 3 weeks, and when I don't eat for a day it makes me sick and I hurl. So I lost like 12 pounds in 3 weeks, and the guy that I had the biggest crush on was looking at me in 2nd period, then he came up to me after class. He was like "you look different and you've been distant lately I miss the old you ) :" and I opened my eyes. There is no perfect!

A perfect body is a body thats natural, nothing really done to it, no surgery, drugs, or anything like that. The perfect body is the body that a person makes in their own design. Other people shouldn't have a say in the way you look, if someone tells you you're ugly or you should do something to make yourself "perfect" tell them to piss off and that you're perfect the way you are to yourself and to other people who care about you.

But my biggest flaw USED to be; the media destroyed me. I had no self respect, I hated myself, I thought there was something really wrong with me because I wasnt thin and asian, and that caused me to go on anorexia. I stopped though, but because of my self esteem issues, i lost a dear friend.

There is something about them that you can tell they weren't born with. And the "perfect people" aren't perfect! They may look good, but make bad grades. The only perfect thing is nature, and we're part of that perfection. It's only the shit we do that changes that: if we just left things the way they were, stopped trying to mess with them and make them "better", we might get a closer idea of being perfect. Perfect is natural.

Yes I do believe it is sad on how intensely materialistic our generation has augmented to. We live in America and are in a recession but, guess what I went to the shopping mall yesterday I couldn't find a damn parking spot. Perfection is an ideal that people come up with. In ways, it can be helpful (setting goals for oneself, ie, I want to improve my grade by the end of the semester) and in other's, it's destructive (I am too fat, I need to stop eating). In either case, the real perfection in itself is unattainable.

I'm glad to see that a beautiful lady like you, with such an open and strong mind. I used to sit in front of this one girl in high school who kept on complaining about how much her life sucked, she had a cell phone, wore make-up, fancy clothes, and still wasn't satisfied. It was kind of annoying. I didn't have any of that, no cell and my clothes where from Wal-Mart. But YOU are a strong individual.

The worst way to live life is to be denied or deny true friendships and loving compassion of another.
