My comment didn't post with the video. Your version is amazing! I didn't know I wasn't listening to Karen until I noticed the comments! I hope you'll listen to my a cappella clip of me singing the 4-part middle section. This is my favorite Carpenters song, and you absolutely did it justice!

@sue2442 Though I was a huge fan of The Carpenters all those years ago, this one seems to have passed me by until recently. It has now become my favourite of them all!

The quality of her voice matches Karen's perfectly, but the diction is definitely not the same. For one thing, the 'T' is too hard on the word crescent and Karen attached it to noon with no break. Jenny does a wonderful job however and is a blessing to many who loved Karen.

Here I am again and I want you know that I love you! That is simply incredible. I grew up Amish and wasn't allowed to listen to "worldly" music and the first time I heard her on my illegal radio, I went straight to the mall and bought several of her albums. She has occupied more of my time and pleasure than any musical act in my life and by your commitment to continue her legacy and even establishing your own identity thro her makes you special and for the record, you are Great!!

I am a fan of Karen Carpenter and was devistated by her early death. When my boys were toddlers they loved Karen Carpenter and would dance to her songs and they still listen to her music. Thanks for keeping her songs and memory alive.
