yeah, but it's only after the hour is up can it go sudden death. i really didnt like the fact that they forced it into sudden death. the match was a draw, there have been ties in the iron man matches, so why not with this one?

title was on the line, there had to be a winner. Here's the real question. If the man with the most decisions at the end of the time limit it the winner, and the title is on the line, and a decision can be earned by DQ..........suppose there's only one decision at the end of the match and it's by DQ........does the title change hands???

i see your point and i do agree to a degree with it, but there have been double count outs which is basically a tie, so they could have done the same with this, no one scored a victory with in the time so it's a tie or no contest so to speak.

i dont think the title changing hands on a DQ is a good idea, yeah you beat your opponent, but only cos they got caught cheating, and also you can get DQ'd when doing nothing wrong, how many people did Eddie Guerrero (R.I.P) get victories over like that?

I understand where you're coming from. Firstly, I think the idea was that after a grueling hour, the best way to heighten the emotional response to it's absolute peak would be to have the score tied at 0-0. That says that both men are both the proverbial "irresistible forces" and "immovable objects" Also the idea was to put the belt on Shawn and as it is...the match is one of, if not THE most emotionally intense matches in the history of ALL pro wrestling.

As far as the title changing hands. My point was that the rules of an Iron Man match open a loophole. A decision can be earned by DQ....unless specifically stated otherwise, the title cannot change hands on a DQ. If the only decision in an Iron Man match was won by DQ, would the title change hands and what controversy would arise from the call? On one hand, someone got caught cheating...on the other, the final score was 1-0. It'd make an interesting story angle at the very least.

that is a very VERY good point, i wonder if they'll ever try something like that?but iron man matches are few and far between, i guess we'll just have to wait and see if it ever comes up. both good points though.

it's down to discretion of the guy who draws up the contracts and puts stipulations on the match. the rock vs benoit at fully loaded, it was stipulated that the rock would lose the title if he was disqualified. i dont recall anyone losing a title in wwe through a dq, but i know it has happened in tna and other companies, but the iron man match isnt a standard match, it's a scoring match, so if the champ get dq'd and it the only decision in the match, the belt would possibly change hands!

"aki" need to come back into the picture and make a better gameplay system. Also in No mercy for n64..it was endless on the attires you can create for 4 different sets of your wrestlers. I will not buy this game, the arenas look great so does the graphics, but idk how people think this a good game.

thq is just too lazy, i mean the game came out for ps3 and 360 only so that should mean that the game should have alot of features but no thg just put the legends in (with barely any attires) and just kinda copied svr but removed a lot of features
