Hello, can't thank you enough for uploading this beautiful song. Would you be able to kindly write the lyrics in English and translate (even few lines will do :) ? I don't understand Urdu or Farsi however believe me I am a great fan of Ustad mehdi hasan and mirza ghalib :)

@sarakordsabet1 , he is the legendary gazal singer from pakistan and his name is mehdi hassan, this is one of his few persian ghazals.

Though this is in dari dialect or Persian language, it is JUST wonderful to listen Mehdi Hassan. what an appealing and eternal voice. No doubt, he strenuously practised music, in my oresence in the years 1965-2000. he is no doubt a great artist in this sub-continent for Urdu and persian language listeners. I am grateful to *rawzana* channel of YouTube, for up loading this NOVEL item. Basically, this melody was composed for faiz sahib ghazal, Golon Mein rang Bhare, but here is also perfect.

No doubt, this is a voice that will remain an eternal synonym for the word ghazal. The Urdu version is also very sweet, but this Farsi( Dari) version sounds even sweeter. Thanks for the forward, Khalid Bhai, and thanks to rawzana for the post.

A great artist, sings what so ever, maintain his level in all the language.I remember, iwas with Mehdi Hassan, when the basic Urdu version of Faiz sahib ghazal, the listeners on Radio and the audiences in LIVE concerts, were JUST spellbound. I remained with the artist for many years (i was lucky enough), thw moments, he entered in the live concerts stages, unanimously audiences demand was *Golon Mein Rang Bhare* and then so on. Good taste in selection of the ghazal and the befitting movie clip.

Wonder if you had access to another sweet Dari ghazal sung by Khân Sâheb, beginning with:

Dishab ke to az mehr ba bâm âmada bodi

Didam ke beh az mâhe tamâm âmada bodi

I put refrain of the present ghazal, sung in Dari, followed by an attempted Eng translation. Hope it offers some glimpses of Shahenshâhe Ghazals taste in choice of Dari ghazals.
