I really like how the girl is wearing retro clothes. They look better than any of the more modern clothing, and especially better than sci-fi craziness. I'm going to try the demo, and if I like the game then it will be 3rd on my shopping list (or maybe 1st, considering it's price). BTW, I found the game via lin-app.com. I didn't know there were so many commercial games for linux out there!
I recall having played a game remarkably similar to this. Believe it or not, it was "Math Blaster", or one of those old educational games your parents bought you that you only played for the minigames between math drills. This was one of those minigames. I can't remember exactly though. It involved robots, or monsters. One or the other.
This was made in blitzmax. And yes, music fits the game fine and it doesn´t get tiresome. You cant miss with imphenzia soundtrack if you have a space themed game :)
interesting game. our game also features an imphenzia soundtrack! it's so cool to hear his (newer) music in other games! what did you program this in? the music really fits the artstyle and gameplay...

I've watched your work over the blitzmax forums. It's nice and polished. Pitty that already I've seen it on trackers. Indie devs should be helped.

Loving the music, here, too. It's great to see a heroine in a game now and then, too!
