Interesting that ABC (here in the United States) used a promo song "Something's Happening" based on "Shout!" by the Isley Brothers for the start of the 1989-1990 TV season. This is probably by sheer coincidence, as this Nine promo predates it by about six months.
I totally agree - Australian Television, especially the Nine Network, has lost creativity - hopefully 2008 might being some!!! Otherwise Nine will never again be still the one...

Actually they did... Their hearting TV now. Except for Brisbane, where it is "Nine For Queensland" after the success of the we<3tv localised promos.
