Do me a favour. Sit back and restart this clip and imagine this appearing a T in the park. HEH HEH HEH GOD bless NOD,DAVE ,JIM and DON forever. They annoyed a helluva lot of people but they were so very very loud live. I used to love watching the non believers cringe when they cranked it up. Bless them and each and every Slade nut in the world.
Fantastic footage. Was this before or after Donington that year (81)? I saw them there and they were absolutely brilliant...blew everyone except AC/DC right off the stage!
C'mon Noddy & jim, a reunion is waaaayyyy overdue!
Read that Dave has cancer. Best Wishes. Grew up with Slade here in the US when none of my friends even heard of them. God that had to be 30 years ago!!!
Awesome, as always! So energetic and Dave's outfit is the best by far. I like the way he always has an edge but still looks like a real rocker; the man's got style!
An awesome band to see live. Don't judge the audio of this concert by what you hear on your PC. I assure you it was an entirely different deal stood in front of Slade's speaker stacks. They sure did 'Play It Loud'.
i disagree man.dave hill is in my top ten..hes a greatly underated guitarist..without dave i think slade wouldent of made it as big or even made it at all
Dave's guitar sounded slightly off on his part in this clip...but, man; if you listen to the brilliance of his playing on Cum On Feel The Noize, or any of those great old ones. Dave Hill is downright amazing...
hey i want my rock n roll bad ass, i want my guys on stage to sweat blood, a bum chord here or there no matter! i want it faast and hard and er, ooh! i sound like me missus lol..! hill was a killer player!
I dunno wot they were thinking when they decided to play this song up-tempo in the later years. All the in-your-face ballziness wot made this song so great is gone. Disappointing!

one of the best live acts i ever saw, especially since they did virtually new stuff rather than relying on old hits!
