I can understand Dayoung, she's shy and she isn't close to all her appas yet, but because the attention are mainly on lauren and Leo it just feels she's left out a lot of times. It's not that she doesn't want to join in, she's needs guidance and I think if the appa compliment her and pay more of an attention to her, she will soon open up :) But so far MBLAQ are doing great :) They will definitely show they are good appa!
@lunaraizel And besides, they are not even in their 30s yet, their practically still kids in many aspects. I believe we should just enjoy the show, as I mean, everything works out in the end, if not, they wouldn't have even aired the first episode :P
@lunaraizel I just hope she can embrace herself and truely love herself with enough confindence as soon as possible, because I wasted 10 years of my life living in such a secluded way... It was not fun. And to touch on the five appas parenting, for thoese who do not know, most korean reality tv shows are indeed scripted (but they do deviated a lot of the time from the script) and many scenes are edited out to create a better 'story'. I'm sure the situation isnt nearly as bad as it was.
I can relate to Dayoung so much. I grew up as a socially awkward only child who never met her dad or even spent time with her mom... Up until last year, I was a person with little to no friends and hated new situations. I totally understand what Dayoung is doing. I would purposely isolate my self from play and eating situation in hopes for attention because I was the child everyone forgot about. But its these experiences that make people like us stronger.
In my point of view, maybe Dayoungie was upset about the fact that all the kids were put on appa's laps excepted for her. That's why she didn't want to eat and just hide her face.

I agree with Hyorin that Joon is the best dad so far. He's unbiased towards the kids and is willing to punish them, whereas the rest of the boys are completely biased and spoil the kids way to much. I think Mir and GO are worse than Chundoog though.
I love all these kids and all, but I really don't think it was a good idea having one group taking care of three of them :( I mean MBLAQ are new to taking care of kids and won't always know what their actions can lead to.(especially having 2 girls with different personalities) It's really hard to give equal amount of attention for all of them. (And I seriously love Joon-Leo & Joon-Dayoung moments, he's always trying hard to get along with them)

XD i understand you, and i do agree. something has to be done about and for dayoung, and though mir meant well, he went about it the wrong way. i think the reason dayoung is so upset lies in G.O. and what happened last episode. the only father she recognized in mblaq was in fact G.O. and when he played with lauren instead, i think dayoung was hurt on some level and that makes it harder for her to open up. and i don't think sticking her between the two...

I don't think G.O is leaving her out. I think he's just really hesitant? towards her cause he keeps 'screwing up' I don't know but yeah they're doing a good job so I dont have any complaints towards how they're treating the kids lol

i think there is nothing wrong with mblaq or mir. every parents has their own way to raise a child but since mblaq is superstar they received so much attention for what they did

Don't be harsh with them. Nobody's born knowing how to be a parent. They're trying hard and will learn with time. And they're trying it from what they learnt watching their own parents. Like everybody.
They barely know about parenthood and from one day to another, they have not one but three kids to raise. And to make it worse, they are not their own children.
Remember that Mir is very young to be a father and even more to be a perfect father.
@LudmilasRain I think it's better to keep our judgments till the end of the show and just enjoy it until that happens. It's easy to judge from the outside but we don't know how are we going to be with our own children, how are we going to react to each situation that comes our way....

Joon reminds me of my dad, comic but is a disciplinarian..i love him but i honestly didn't grow up wanting to confide to him..i guess i got use to being fearful that it became awkward as I became older. And Thunder is just like my mom, the kind of parent whose skirt you don't want to let go and who I'd follow around all day, who I know wld love me unconditionally. Mir is the bossy older brother who can be mean at times but is really loving underneath..Seung Ho and GO ? distant uncles ^^ lol

People aren't complaining and most understand the mechanics of the show in general. No one is saying they're bad people...just stating suggestions and personal views. This is the 5th HB that I've seen. Either way...I'm going to have an opinion despite the fact that a person is new to parenting or not. This is a learning process for both mblaq and the babies...but they all are human and have feelings. And there are decent ways to dealing with situations. If Leo can be told not to hit...so can Jo
I think Dayoung feels neglected. I don't know if Dayoung doesn't like to be held or hugged by the appas because they always seem to be holding Lauren and hugging her. She's always sitting in their laps whilst Dayoung is always sitting on her own. I think she needs more love and attention. Mblaq appas try but they need to try a little harder.

When I was younger if I didn't eat, I couldn't leave the table until I finished my food. If I threw it away, I got punished. I do that with my nieces and nephews because that's what me and my siblings were taught.

@mblaqfreak I agree it was not Mir's intention to upset Dayoung, and he is learning how to take care of kids, however she is a small child, and he is an adult. He may be kidding around the other members and joke around with Leo and Lauren (who have outgoing personalities), but Dayoung who is more shy and reserved may have her had her feelings hurt. Hopefully as the series progresses they will learn to open up more to each other.

Dayoung is the cutest baby ever I seriously love her. at 23:12 when she explains the stuff she actually wanted i melted. mir said that when he was a child, whenever he didnt listen and eat, his parents would say "fine, dont eat" and leave him so that by seeing his family eat together, he would wanna join and eat too. thats the tactic he used on dayoung to get her to eat with them, not cause he was being mean.
To be honest, I wasn't expecting Joon to be such a good dad. I think he tries his best to get close with all three of them, not just one, and is attentive to each of them.
And joon went up my bias list in mblaq because he was really sweet to dayoung and comforted her. & I thought he looked the most handsome & manly holding her like that. & is she crying silently?
Even if the other boys think Joon isn't a good "father," to me, I think he's the best one out of all five of them. He clearly understands that each one of the three have different personalities, and he has this connection with each of them that the other boys don't have. He's comfortable with all of them, not just one (like Seungho-Lauren, GO-Dayoung, & Thunder-Leo).
Perhaps it is scripted, but its' frustrating to see the boys yelling at Joon when joon is actually doing the right thing.
I've just watched the 3 episodes and realized how left out dayoung must feel, i feel so sorry for her, cuz MBLAQ always will go to leo or lauren first and praise them. It's stupid how they don't understand what that does to dayoungs self esteem, Obviously she's not going to want to eat if lauren is on seungho's lap and leo on thunder's, she must feel so left out, and she's only a kid.. Seriously they need to pay more attention to her. But it's not really their fault because they don't realise.

@TheINFINITEfan it's not necessarily that he did something wrong, it's that he went about it wrong. which still leaves him at fault for hurting the child even though he meant well. and we all know that mir meant well when he did what he did, there's no denying that. but he could have handled it better. especially in regards to dayoung, who's already sensitive as it is. and, i must say, i'm seeing a lot of misplaced and unnecessary hatred geared towards mir on this video. -___-"

I agree with Hyorin that Joon is the best dad so far. He's unbiased towards the kids and is willing to punish them, whereas the rest of the boys are completely biased and spoil the kids way to much. I think Mir and GO are worse than Chundoog though.

I love all these kids and all, but I really don't think it was a good idea having one group taking care of three of them :( I mean MBLAQ are new to taking care of kids and won't always know what their actions can lead to.(especially having 2 girls with different personalities) It's really hard to give equal amount of attention for all of them. (And I seriously love Joon-Leo & Joon-Dayoung moments, he's always trying hard to get along with them)

XD i understand you, and i do agree. something has to be done about and for dayoung, and though mir meant well, he went about it the wrong way. i think the reason dayoung is so upset lies in G.O. and what happened last episode. the only father she recognized in mblaq was in fact G.O. and when he played with lauren instead, i think dayoung was hurt on some level and that makes it harder for her to open up. and i don't think sticking her between the two...

@kimichan09 i'm not judging dayoung and dont assume as if we or i am. but if you didnt notice.. dayoung was upset before that as well. like i said in the other comment i know where you're coming at cause i've studied child care and actually worked in one and i didnt mean to sound like an ass. I know it takes time for children to adjust to an environment of to new people. im not stupid. just yeah.. mir tried to teach her a lesson. yeah it sucked but there are so many ways of 'parenting'....

Anyway, I really don't see why everyone, who I am sure are different individuals of different backgrounds, fuss over what Mir did. My mother did far, far, FAR, worse than what he did.The way Mir and Joon try to handle the kids ( more like Joon is), it's no different than how I was raised. Don't be harsh with them. Nobody's born knowing how to be a parent. They're trying hard and will learn with time. And they're trying it from what they learnt watching their own parents. Like everybody.
They barely know about parenthood and from one day to another, they have not one but three kids to raise. And to make it worse, they are not their own children.
Remember that Mir is very young to be a father and even more to be a perfect father.

Joon reminds me of my dad, comic but is a disciplinarian..i love him but i honestly didn't grow up wanting to confide to him..i guess i got use to being fearful that it became awkward as I became older. And Thunder is just like my mom, the kind of parent whose skirt you don't want to let go and who I'd follow around all day, who I know wld love me unconditionally. Mir is the bossy older brother who can be mean at times but is really loving underneath..Seung Ho and GO ? distant uncles ^^ lol

People aren't complaining and most understand the mechanics of the show in general. No one is saying they're bad people...just stating suggestions and personal views. This is the 5th HB that I've seen. Either way...I'm going to have an opinion despite the fact that a person is new to parenting or not. This is a learning process for both mblaq and the babies...but they all are human and have feelings. And there are decent ways to dealing with situations. If Leo can be told not to hit...so can Jo

I think Dayoung feels neglected. I don't know if Dayoung doesn't like to be held or hugged by the appas because they always seem to be holding Lauren and hugging her. She's always sitting in their laps whilst Dayoung is always sitting on her own. I think she needs more love and attention. Mblaq appas try but they need to try a little harder.

When I was younger if I didn't eat, I couldn't leave the table until I finished my food. If I threw it away, I got punished. I do that with my nieces and nephews because that's what me and my siblings were taught.
What if Mir was taught that you should leave the table if you don't want to eat, and not eating is disrepectful? Everyone is bashing MBLAQ for when one of them cries.
Let's face it. Kids are going to cry. All kids are different. These kids probably don't get disciplined by adults.

@mblaqfreak I agree it was not Mir's intention to upset Dayoung, and he is learning how to take care of kids, however she is a small child, and he is an adult. He may be kidding around the other members and joke around with Leo and Lauren (who have outgoing personalities), but Dayoung who is more shy and reserved may have her had her feelings hurt. Hopefully as the series progresses they will learn to open up more to each other.

Dayoung is the cutest baby ever I seriously love her. at 23:12 when she explains the stuff she actually wanted i melted. Its not that she didnt want nything, she just didnt want anything in that store and found it unnecessary to buy anything. it amazes me how babies have different personalities ive never had a baby in my family so im not around them that much and always thought babies are just babies.

Even if the other boys think Joon isn't a good "father," to me, I think he's the best one out of all five of them. He clearly understands that each one of the three have different personalities, and he has this connection with each of them that the other boys don't have. He's comfortable with all of them, not just one (like Seungho-Lauren, GO-Dayoung, & Thunder-Leo).
Perhaps it is scripted, but its' frustrating to see the boys yelling at Joon when joon is actually doing the right thing.

I've just watched the 3 episodes and realized how left out dayoung must feel, i feel so sorry for her, cuz MBLAQ always will go to leo or lauren first and praise them. It's stupid how they don't understand what that does to dayoungs self esteem, Obviously she's not going to want to eat if lauren is on seungho's lap and leo on thunder's, she must feel so left out, and she's only a kid.. Seriously they need to pay more attention to her. But it's not really their fault because they don't realise.

Ok... maybe what I'm going to say is not true but perhaps Mir's behaviour is scripted... Remember how Onew was afraid of kids in hello baby? You can totally tell that that wasn't true if you watch all the eps carefully. Maybe the way Mir acts is scripted a bit.

i'm sorry to say this but Mir didn't have the rights to discipline Dayoung! from what i see he hadn't pay any attention to her or even try to connect with her! this is already ep 3 but all i see about him is just " lauren is so pretty", " i love lauren".. even "lauren is my ideal type"(?!) anyway i hope he will improve in next eps!

@thuthuthu165 Mir doesn't even understand the situation either, the only reason she's being like that is cause she isn't getting any attention. And Mir doing that made it so much worse for her. It's totally unfair on her. I'm sure if he watches the broadcasts he'll realize that.

i think Mir forgot that Dayoung's only 3 yo when he did that... i know he did that for her own good but she is just too young to be treated that way...
i really hope that Dayoung will learn how to express herself in the next episodes!
