Will I ever get bored of looking at him!? It's been nearly two years since I discovered Rob whilst looking through Harry Potter vids. I missed the early days of his rise with Twilight. He isn't half as famous in Britain as he is in the states, so he does not appear in magazines as much as I would like; Thank Gawd for YouTube.
why do you think that is...that he's not as famous in Britain? I would've thought the whole nation would be proud of their talents being successful in the States. And Rob is an amazing package of being talented as well as just a wonderful human being.
@Jopay9894 True, he is doing well, He is a household name... just about. The thing is British men have not got time for romantic actors; that's strictly for the girls and mums. Brit men, 'cos they are insecure get embarrassed about Hugh Grant etc. James Bond and any Macho flick is acceptable, which is a peculiar paradox as our men are not known for their masochism. So Robs popularity does not go across the board her as it does in the states.
@Jopay9894, I ran out of space. If Rob had a success in a non romantic flick like Sci Fi, crime, straight drama or even Lord of the Rings type thing then he would really be popular here. I hope I don't get a load of flack for saying this; Brit men can be very squeamish when It comes to good old fashioned romance. Hence, Rob does not get any praise at all from the guy in the street and it does not matter if the film is a multimillion success, we are not so impressed with that. Hope that helps!
