  • I'm not going to agree or disagree with anyone here, but I would like to say that I space out exactly like that as part of psychosis and it happened for longer and more severe periods of time before medication. It's actually a form of disassociation. I have read her dad's blog and I don't think he ever meant to create this public frenzy convinced they abuse/d her, I think he was just trying to be honest that they dealt with it badly when the illness exasperated them.

  • what schizophrenia? autism and the blank look is a type of seizure.

  • OMG muste be hard work, to work with Children in Mental hospital..

  • There is no fucking abuse!!!!!! It's a mental illness not because they were abused in the past

  • @littlemisspretty1100 do some research and read her fathers blog. SHE WAS ABUSED.

  • watch the videos of her story, shes had symptoms since she was an infant. you people are acting like you can tell everything about somebody after 43 seconds??!?

  • @KayJaeSav They don't talk about the abuse in any of the videos and she was definately abused. Please learn the full story. The videos are not an acurate portrayal and frankly no matter what her behavior was since infancy it DOES NOT EXCUSE THE ABUSE SHE WITNESSED AND ENDURED FROM HER PARENTS!

  • @KayJaeSav I have watched quite a few vidios and I am not convised she is scizophreinc

  • @noavalibleusernames You can't even spell videos or convinced right. How can you be qualified to diagnose her through watching VIDEOS?

  • Poproxxz12 well i was born schizophrenic, and around high school i started doing alot of drugs, especially dextromethorphan... the brain damage itself worsend my schizo symptoms alot. tho i am not as bad as jani, i should be by the time i'm 50 or so... and today is a good day.

  • @beastcobain Have more nice days man! Wish you the best!

  • @beautifulmind546 you seem to have misread. I did not say that what her parents have done has nothing to do with why. I SAID that WHY does not change the fact that she IS unwell. Im sure you were ready for a fight but I am not and have not been arguing with you.

  • I'm a demon tammper i controll my siblings of death to the heist of modern day keys "Edonttnode Icic iv lleh" they come to me for givmess i take it to thee that has touch the thought of eh deeps 3 maybe 1 with the long sliver knife but yet it still drops from the hands that gasp it to dinne to eat

  • Finally she`s got an implantet genmanipulatetd illness, caused by medicals given by a doctor who might be addicted to the meds he prescribed at her.

She can be very happy, if she can give a birth too an other child, without passing her implanted genfailure at her child.

What all Doctors are doing nowadays, might be called genocide at its best. The worst, that they don´t know how lethal those medical (Drugs) are especially for small people and children. Just for richmans fatass`s food.

  • Many people think that children need medication, but it's really just psychic powers.

  • May god bless her..

  • @milkandganja

Jani doesn't have an illness (apart from the illness being caused by the drugs).

  • @beautifulmind546 if what you are saying is true I will remove this video. Please give us a source.

  • @PsychoticPriest It is true. What sources are you looking for? Information on the abuse Jani has experienced or the fact her father has a book deal out about her. let me know and be sure I can inbox you with information you are seeking.

  • @PsychoticPriest Did you get my message? Don't take the video down. Just change the description and include that she has been abused and is being exploited. people need to know this whether she is really halucinating or not.

  • @beautifulmind546 How exactly do you know that she is being abused? Is that based on some solid information you have or just speculation? Childhood schitzophrenia is a terrible disorder and I think her parents have enormous strength to deal with it. They could just institutionalize her and leave her behind, but they're choosing to take care of her themselves. That takes guts.

  • @skyjumper999 "She was two months old. I shook a two month old infant, screaming at her "WHY WON'T YOU SLEEP!" She screamed harder and I immediately felt guilty and tried to make it better. Eventually, she calmed down and fell into a fitful sleep in my arms and I watched German TV at four in the morning knowing I was a baby shaker. " Michael Schofield janisjourney(dot)org <that is just the tip of the iceberg. She has lived 9 years with this SAME man.

  • @milkandganja She says this because this is what she is told about herself. She has no self identity other than this label her parents SOUGHT OUT for her so they could exploit her. You know, I believe her too that hse sees and hears things others don't. She experiences an alternate reality. I am certain she created this reality in order to escape the physical one she is in and survive. If you really love her then take action and help her becuase she will die if things continue in this way.

  • @milkandganja

It's just the name given to a certain type of psychological disturbance.

  • @milkandganja

Of course I believe her. But it doesn't make her schizophrenic.

  • @milkandganja

Jani says she's schizophrenic because that's what she's been taught to say. She doesn't even know what it means. And nor do her parents.

  • @milkandganja

No evidence at all of Jani having hallucinations, just Munchausen parents.

  • @milkandganja

Your comment seems to be contradicting itself.

  • @milkandganja

That's right, there's a huge difference between intrusive thoughts and hallucinations. Just wish that Jani Schofield's parents could learn to tell the difference. And her stupid psychiatrists.

  • Jani has also been abused by her father beginning with being shaken as a two month old infant. Tip of the iceberg. Michael and Susan have their own mental illness which is often downplayed. Michael is violent and takes meds. Susan sees mental illness in every one and every thing hence her labeling her own son schizoaffective. Their symptoms are very Muchausen by proxy. They feed off of the attention they get from claimig Jani is schizophrenic.

  • @beautifulmind546

"Susan Schofield sees mental illness in everyone and everything."

Munchausen by Proxy? Too true. She's even got her dog on drugs!

  • @beautifulmind546 And your source of information is....?

  • @omsnaga janisjourney(dot)org < that is her fathers blog where he admits his abuse then blames it on her and her illness "She was two months old. " Michael Schofield janisjourney(dot)org

  • the child is staring into space - I do that - my brain gets tired - its taking a little break - others say I don't listen - its because they are boring me - I am tuning everyone out when the pressure is on, or I want to do or focus on what I want to focus on at the moment. I know what they are going to say - my mom? EXACTLY what she is going to say next. Yes, I have a high IQ. I am very active. NOT a seizure ..I agree with isisbridge...get her off that medicine its doing more harm than good.

  • @listentothis1 i dont know man, I think I saw a video of this kid without medication and she was going mental

  • @listentothis1 watch her documentary and then say if its best for her to get off meds.

  • @listentothis1 Please watch the other documentaries of this child and her history and her own statements before you assume that she is not in fact suffering with this illness. This is not just a child staring off into space no matter how much her family wishes that it was. They did not automatically assume this was an illness without first thinking for years, it was just an imagination. PLEASE watch and hear everything before discounting this girls struggle.

  • @Poproxxz12 I would say the same to you. Please learn the whole story before shaming others. Jani was abused starting at infancy. Jani has brain damage - ischemic thalamus that was likely caused by the abuse because she has not had a stroke. Learn about the fake foundation her parents set up to get donations through paypal, learn about her mothers talk radio show and about how they sensationalize so much to get attention and money. Read the blog, ask them q on FB, listen to the radio show...

  • @beautifulmind546 I dont think I ever said anything about the origin of her illness though correct me if I am wrong I'm unable to find my post. However i dont believe that was something I mentioned.HOW it happened is one thing but there is no denying she is not well.Regaurdless of the cause this is not simply a child "staring of into space".I am unsure about why you are telling me I need to have more sources when the foundations, radio shows etc.have nothing to do w/ if this girl is well or not.

  • @Poproxxz12 She is not well because her parents made her not well through abuse, exploitation and drugging her into submission - THAT is why YOU need to learn the full story by reading the blog, hearing the radio show, asking the Schofields direct questions on FB. Those things have EVERYTHING to do with why Jani is unwell. You discount Jani's struggle when you ignore the cause of her struggle.

  • @beautifulmind546 BY the way, medical studies have shown no connection between brain damage and schizophrenia. And yes I got that from the sources YOU suggested I go read ;)

  • @Poproxxz12 Right. And it's debateable Jani even has schizophrenia. She shows more signs of autism than anything and her father actually pushed for this diagnosis. He also didn't disclose his abuse of her when she was being evaluated so that pretty much invalidates the diagnosis if the drs had no knowledge of the abuse.

  • @listentothis1 have you not seen any of the other vids of this kid? obviously not, id suggest you do.

  • @listentothis1 really? do you also have "imaginary friends" that tell you to harm your family?

  • I had sex with a schizophrenic chick. But I think I should be okay because I used a condom.

  • @StreetArtillery

You can't catch schizophrenia, because it's not a disease. More to the point is whether the "chick" is okay after being with you.

  • i'm schizophrenic. she just seems like a brat with imaginary friends that she pretends like they're real. if you really have it, it's different. not like that. please don't comment, i'm just sayin'

  • @invadermelissa1

How can you HAVE it when there is no IT to have?

Schizophrenia is a state of mind, not a disease.

  • from Michael Schofield's blog:

"Of course I am afraid. I am afraid of overdosing her, but I am even more terrified of losing her completely to her delusions. I fear we have to go to Clozaril, which cures schizophrenia but poisons your blood. Side effects may include vomiting, mild headache, and death through massive organ failure. I am fucking terrified, dumbshit."

  • Michael Schofield WANTED this "illness" for Jani to make himself feel better:

"Nobody talked us into labeling Jani schizophrenic. In fact, they went out of their way to convince us that she wasn't. Schizophrenia doesn't exist in children this young, they said. Susan and I pushed for the diagnosis of schizophrenia. And UCLA resisted, for five months. Now she has the label. And I am happy. Because if it isn't schizophrenia, then my daughter is just a brat with behavioral probems."

  • absence seizure maybe? their really common in young children

  • @Kianamonster

Shitload of inappropriate medications interfering with her brain synapses, maybe?

  • “Psychiatry’s claim that mental illnesses are brain diseases is “a claim supposedly based on recent discoveries in neuroscience, made possible by [brain] imaging techniques for diagnosis and pharmacological agents for treatment. This is not true.” —Dr. Thomas Szasz, Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry, New York University Medical School, Syracuse via cchr(dot)org

  • The child is staring into space whilst in a heavily drugged state.

There is no evidence that she's hallucinating.

  • @Isisbridge I'm Schizophrenic and before I started medication (So, I was on absolutely NOTHING) I stared just like her into 'space' but the whole time I was seeing demonic looking creatures or people yelling at me that would all of a sudden disappear into thin air. I think that's enough proof to tell that this little girl IS actually hallucinating...

  • @TheBahaiGirl

Firstly, your own experiences don't prove anything about Jani Schofield. Secondly, your description of your experiences doesn't sound anything like schizophrenia. It's a common misperception to see hallucination as the hallmark of schizophrenia, hence any child with an aberrant imagination is now in danger of getting misdiagnosed with psychiatry's favourite "disease". And what happens to the children with narcolepsy or temporal lobe epilepsy? Do they get misdiagnosed too?

  • @Isisbridge Well, I was diagnosed by 3 different professionals with the mental illness: Catatonic Schizophrenia. And how does my hallucinations not sound like schizophrenia to you? Lastly, this has NOTHING to do with imagination. What I've experienced has been morbid and out of my control. Imagination is controlled by the person, hallucinations are not.

Aren't there tests for Epilepsy and things like that? Brain scans? EEGs? Schizophrenia doesn't have a physical test.

  • @TheBahaiGirl

I wouldn't like to comment on what was going on in your case when I don't know anything about you. I was just making the point that your own experiences are not proof of Jani hallucinating. But to answer your question: visual hallucinations of demons are not typical of the schizophrenic state, which is more of a delusionary state and doesn't usually involve any hallucinations at all, apart from voices in the head.

  • @TheBahaiGirl

You're totally wrong about imagination always being controlled by the person. People often imagine stuff they don't want to, and images can come unbidden to the mind.

  • @Isisbridge worse if you have such an active imagination. I still have night terrors because of that, I went to a psychiatrist and he rebuked the diagnosis that I was borderline, psychotic or some other diagnoses Ihad been labeled with by other less experienced drs. He said I had an overly working imagination and needed to vent in productive ways. Jani might need the same thing.

  • @Isisbridge Agreed, many people think they are in control of their own minds, really I dont think you can control your own thoughts directly but can through physical action (put yourself into different situations where you expect yourself to react in a certain way). An example is depressive thoughts, I used to get them if I were just sitting around, first you would need to realise your thoughts, then to get rid of them you have to go do something physical

  • @TheBahaiGirl

Jani's parents won't allow her to have brain scans because they can cash in on her being a schizophrenic, they can't if an EEG turns up that she's an epileptic. These people doctor shopped until they got a rare diagnosis that they could cash in on, now her father sits on his ass all day and blogs about how people have to send him money so that he can pay the rent because his daughter is so sick.

  • @lesterclaypool1

Michael Schofield angling for the sz diagnosis: "We are frustrated because the staff and doctors seem to thinking that it is just her "imagination" again, and considering autism and Asperger's... I don't know why in the hell they are so resistant to labeling her "schizophrenic" but yet so eager to label her Asperger's.,, She fucking talks to animals and people who aren't there! And she is violent! That isn't autism! That's psychosis!"

  • @lesterclaypool1 Do you know for certain that they haven't gotten brain scans for her? Because if they didn't, that's stupid... I had that done so that I ruled out epilepsy.

  • @TheBahaiGirl

Yes, Michael, himself, said that they only had one MRI and they weren't looking for epilepsy with it. You can find his comment about it on one of the JaniFoundation videos on this site.
