@davisgreen2020 This IS happening, sea levels are rising, and the thames barrier's life expectancy has gone down 5 years to 2025! 15 years and i'm underwater! Scary thought isn't it!
no worries mate, I've lived quite a few feet below sea-level most of my life..............behind a bloody great dike, mind you :) besides, designing and building them is my job, dikes and sea defences that is. The barrier will hold for a while.

@davisgreen2020 it's not because of climate change, the same thing happened in jan 1953 and 59 people were casualities.
this happens because wind is funneled down north sea and east anglia floods Every year in winter months. no one can even try and beat mother nature
