ohh man, i have killed just 25 templars and im tired of it..... and, the only one of these 12 that im missing is the last one xD, i never try to recognize the cities or memorizing the places, i just find them on the way xD

@geckoran The first throwing knife will just make him mad. The second one won't finish him off either. I assume that a number of knives will kill a Templar but I've never counted how many it takes.

i thought so too and when I saw they guy this is what I did-> target lock --> throw knife (templar gets angry) -->throw 2nd knife (not much) --> throw 3rd (nope, nothing)-->4th knife (maybe if i do it again XP) and so on. I was pretty far and i had 15 (15!!!) throwing knifes. Yep, I wasted all 15 knifes on the templar and he didnt die! but maybe im just not lucky >.< anyway advice: dont waste ur knifes

@geckoran Oh, I forgot to tell you. al-Assas over on The Hidden Blade has confirmed that Templars are completely immune to Throwing Knives. Main targets can be weakened by Knives but need to be finished off with another weapon.

See the article called "Hit Points and Damage Points" on TheHiddenBlade (dot com). He used Cheat Engine to extract the actual values from the PC version of AC. Good stuff.

i really liked the gameplay and graphics of this game. my biggest problems were not enough variety in the targets. it seemed the same all the time. not enough stealth. maybe i sucked but it seemed like the game wanted you to get caught all the time so you would have to run and hide a lot. the ending pissed me off so much. luckily AC2 was released a couple months before i finished ac1. good game, part 2 killed it though.

my favourite was at 6:35 :) i discovered him by accidently falling from the catedral top.. fortunatly i grabbed a ledge. and as i grabbed the ledge, i grabbed the templar and throw him down. that was fun :P

That's odd. Was the Templar aggravated and waiting for you on the roof near the base of the spire? IanXO4 and I have tried various jumps from the top of the Holy Cross and cannot reach the spawn position of this Templar.

On Xbox 360 you get lots of achievements for flags and Templars. There's no reward on PS3 or PC.

the templars who are around today arent the real order. the're a new order. the real order was all burned at the stake in 1312 on friday the 13th. im sure some templars killed yes.but most templars actually protected inocent people rather then killing them. the're whole purpose was to protect people while visiting the holy land since islamists were constantly killing inocent people traveling to the holy land.

There are four different ways to initiate an air depending upon the situation. The kill animation always looks the same. For a link to my guide on airs, see the video description of "12 Ways to Wield the Hidden Blade" or google "air to assassinate guide".

Almost all Templars guard treasure chests. I've read that this is a reference to the Templars' role as bankers during the Crusades.

The last one's post is high on the Church of the Holy Cross. That's just where the game designers decided to put him.

Does anybody know how to Air Assassinate someone on the PS3, while on a edge or wall, etc?? I think i did on the ground, i saw my guy jump then stab the guard. wat i did was R1 and x and when i came close i press square. I try to do this on and edge or wall but couldn't. i will greatly appreciated if someone replyed.

Jerusalem Rich #2 was a high profile air to assassinate. First you target lock him by pulling Left Trigger. From the ladder, you hold Right Trigger and press X.

Oh, you mean Jerusalem Rich #3. I wrote that because there's a common misconception that jump + assassinate = air to assassinate.

FYI, I later figured out a way to do a true air to assassinate on this Templar. It's in my video "Personal Vendetta: Jerusalem Templars".

Yes. This is the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in the Rich District of Acre. The Templar stands in the ruined north tower. The south tower is the highest view point in the game.

First, hitting a Templar with a Throwing Knife just makes him mad. Multiple Throwing Knives might wear him down.

Second, I only use the Hidden Blade. It's more challenging and fun.

The point of this video was to stealth assassinate some of the more difficult Templars. I didn't succeed on all of them.

Because they're tricky/impossible to stealth assassinate. All except Acre Middle #3 - I just like throwing him over the wall into the Mediterranean. The other 48-49 are easy to sneak up on.

Check out the video response "Personal Vendetta: Kingdom Templars". I figured out a better way to get Kingdom #10.

On around 5:18, I think you could have air to assassinated that templar by hitting x as you walk off the ledge, just letting you know.
