The Skorpion's not even close to Black Ops' most ultra-close-range-only gun. In my opinion, that distinction goes to the HS10. Dual wield and quick reload do not change the fact that there's little I can do with it that I can't do more effectively with a suppressed SPAS-12.

The Skorpion is also limited-use in CoD 4, but on Wet Work I can dominate with it more than with any other weapon. I use a suppressor to take advantage of the low recoil and flat, unobtrusive sights by hiding the muzzle flash. While Double Tap drains the small magazine quickly, I find it necessary also makes up for the low damage at range and hampers ironsight accuracy far less than for other SMGs. Steady Aim is less vital, so Martyrdom is my choice for getting more kills.

At least the bitchian is low-recoil, you can see down the ironsights, and if you're lucky, you can get to engage the enemy at the magic 5-meter range where it's a 2-hit kill. The uzi has none of the above, making it the most useless SMG in Black Ops. Despite a faster reload time than in Modern Warfare, its relative performance is worse than in CoD 4. There's basicallly nothing it can do performance-wise that a Kiparis, MAC-11, AK-74U, or MP5K can't.

The scorpion is a powerful gun, yet shitty at the same time. It does 50-20 damage. So its a 2 bullet kill within its effective range, but its range is less than most shotguns, & then its a 5 bullet kill outside that range. So, if you dual wield it, & come around a corner you can conceivably shoot both guns & kill some1 with 1 bullet from each gun. Just as effective as a shotty. But yeah it sux, yet fun to horse around with when ur not being a try hard.
