How can you say that embryonic stem cells are the only answer when NO ONE has recovered fully from them?!?! I think it IS in the future, but it's not now. I need to do what I can NOW to recover and every little bit I get back is worth every penny I spend. You should visit some centers and talk to some client who go there to "waste their money" before you open your mouth.
lisarenee3505--you have NO idea what you are talking about!! You don't even have a SCI!! Have you ever BEEN to any of these centers or talked to clients? I think the answer is no. I am a client at Pressing On and can not say enough good about it, neither can the other clients who go there--including Tyler. I HAVE seen clients WALK out unaided. I'm not walking YET but HAVE made SIGNIFICANT progress. I can do things now that I could NOT do before, things YOU take for granted but a BIG deal to me.
I have seen so many of these so-called "SCI recovery" centers and I've yet to see one that isn't full of BS. So you get a little twitch here and there, perhaps the really exceptional patient who makes some significant recovery... big deal. I've yet to see anyone come out of one of these places back to the way they were pre-injury, or even walking unaided. In the end you've wasted a bunch of money on an over-priced personal trainer, that's all. Embryonic stem cells are the ONLY viable answer.
