Imagine the outrage if these were Border cops, and the victum was an illegal who was running from them(gee that never happens). I'd love to see the comments.
Has anyone ever tried to move any part of their body while being tazed? That part of the cops story is BS. Who can comply to anything other than shitting their pants when 50,000 volts is being applied to them? I used to know aaron pretty good. Not sure how he got down that path he is on, but i hope he finds salvation in something when he gets out. He should sue for more.
To those of you making judgement on these officers ... until you walk in their shoes and know the whole story of what really happened you should keep your mouth shut... these officers make these streets safe for you and i and get the riff raff off the street for it to be safe for us all..... do not judge what you don't know....there is alot more to what the news is saying......
Pull your head out of your ass. Police officers are given the power they have for a reason, and using that force to tase a suspect who has their hands in the AIR and isn't resisting is blatant abuse of that given power. How about that swift kick to the torso as soon as the guy hits the ground? Seems that was obviously needed since the suspect fell to the ground after being shocked.
obviously there are crazy things happening.. my point was that you aim your remarks at Arizona police officers when there are clearly problems everywhere. Your point is taken that there are several issues that need to be addressed, what i hope you acknowledge is that there are over 800 sworn officers in the city of mesa alone, Phoenix has at least double that and Chendler is close behind Mesa. It takes alot more than even several incidents to justify calling it typical.
hillarious... thats what happens when you break the law.... you get your ass kicked... this is nothing compared to what our troops in iraq and afganistan are going thru...
@6stringbling you say it's typical behavior in Arizona from cops and criminals? I suppose making broad generalizations without having any sort of info to back up your claim is typical from wherever it is that you live. I'm pretty sure typical means it's not unusual so I'd invite you to provide statistics to back up your claim.
recent stuff , this is just a little sample of our law enforcement-
Oct 21, 2010 ... Phoenix police officer pleads not guilty in fatal shooting, The officer faces charges of second-degree murder, aggravated assault and animal ...
this guy hit 2 women-Oct 17, 2010 ... Mesa officer faces charges in assault at Scottsdale bar, Mesa Officer Steven Miller faces assault, disorderly conduct charges after ...Sep 25, 2010 ... Phoenix officer who groped DUI suspect decertified,...
not to mention the over 40 mill in lawsuit and settlement awards for what the mcso and sheriff joe have done to people or allowed to happen.
lots of funny business going on in arizona, from the chandler police higher up having sex and more... cops suing the cops, sheriff being investigated by the feds ....see what im saying here, if not, try removing the blinders
@Rhasaan50 "let's see what AZ white prople say about this"? You are brilliant. If you checked anything out before you started typing your racist comments you would have seen that the suspect involved in this was a white male. I understand you are trying to make a point but you should probably learn to pick the proper forum.
@Rhasaan50 it is my guess the police instructed this individual to lay on the ground and due to his poor judgment he failed to heed the police instructions. As an AZ resident, I hope next time he is apprehended he follows the instructions the police give him or suffer again the consequences.
the police report and video show 2 different things going on. it is clear the detectives used excessive force and lied in the police report. This type of behavior is typical in Arizona from cops and criminals, ignorance on both sides.
@6stringbling you read the police report??? I find that a bit difficult to believe considering the police report is submitted to the courts to determine release conditiions in initial appearance court, then submitted to the county attorney to determine of charges will be filed. Seeing a silent video is as accurate a tool as trying to gauge your speed in a car by putting your hand outside the window.
@MindFury my kids listen, probably because the one time they didnt, the did get kicked in the a**. You gotta teach them young Fury, or then end up like the guy in the video..
@AmericanBulldogger I fully agree. If more parents thought like that we would be alot better off. I'm not going to make excuses for him. He was a good freind and person at one time.
