@HALEYPIEJUNE16 Yes, more fabric layers will do the trick if you want a sturdier bag. Or you can make "walls" with cardboard (not too thick though), which you sew into the fabric.
@sweety0711 It gets pretty sturdy once you fill it with stuff. And I kind of like it to be a little baggy. But you can always add more fabric layers or sew in a piece of thin cardboard or something similar into the side-piece if you want it to be "harder".
Thank you for such great instructions. I'm not a sewer to begin with but have a circular project to do that needs sewing. You are an AWEsome direct, easy to understand teacher. thank you for posting and sharing your talent(s). Pinina in Phoenix
You inspired me. Only I made holes in the top so the straps could fit in neatly. I also put a little cardboard in between the layers so it would be a little more sturdy.

To the people that are trying to figure out how to make it more sturdy, I think putting felt in between the pieces of fabric would help.

@laydewlf Sure, that could help with maintaining the shape.

bag looks great. If there was a way to make it stand perfectly instead of drool, it would be a perfect bag

@badmedgirl Always fun to inspire, thanks! I thought about using cardboard too, but was too lazy... :)
