  • The way you make me feel! You really turn me on!

  • Don't hold you breathe when your drumming

  • Why are the beater 45° turned???

  • @MoreMetforMe Its a Mapex pedal, which has a triple faced beater.

  • @NateDaDrummzer ah sry^^

  • @MegaMichaelJackson2 Yeah your right :D

  • Haters gunna hate. Keep playin brotha! At least you are trying while the trolls are typing.

  • This is fucking shit drummer.

  • @TopGun6661 and you're a shit thai

  • why do you have 2 different socks on ??

  • @SharkGX26 Does it really matter about the dudes socks? lol

  • this guy has good bass drum footwork. idc if its not like chris adler. let chris adler do chris adler. but u should change the title of ur video

  • he does a quad, not a triplet.

  • change ur video title

  • 158 likes, 163 dislikes

  • get a real drum kit.

  • Ur not good dont make a tutorial

  • Definitely NOT Chris's technique

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

    ate parece tocandu num mapex

    chris naum é ele msm

  • pathetic

  • for a start, you're not even playing the beat right

  • i didnt pay attention to shit you were saying...i was looking at your different socks haha..and this isnt Chris adlers technique!!

  • Great play, But not the Chris Adler's technique ¬¬

  • Guys chill, its okay to simplify if you simply can't keep up or do it. Ya there isn't any fancy heel-toe quad going on but when he speeds it up it sounds relatively close. Okay you don't like it, sue him.

  • looks like your cheating and it sounds like your missing a kick or something. dont sound right. idk what it is but it sounds off.

  • I beleive the 'proper' way to play BtCS is:

    r---rrl-r-l-

As in to say the rrl move is a Heel-toe into the left bass hit, liike a swiss triplet.

That's how I play it anyways.

  • nice matching socks...

  • Are you stoned?

  • how dare you play LOG on an electric kit! grow some balls and play that shit on a real kit, biatch!...fuckin pussy! and the funny thing is, a fuckin 5 year old can do what he's doing!

  • @deathdrum420 u don think ur a little off in ur statement?

  • @deathdrum420 You sound like an idiot. Let's see you play it then if a 5 year old could do it.

  • @deathdrum420 shut up he may be doing it on an electric kit coz he doesn't want complaints about the noise.

  • nice video it really helped :D thanks!!!

  • man you are tired !!!

  • its pretty much a flam but with your feet :)

  • electric drums=$H!T

  • @AVIRAM13688 Ever think that some people live in a place where acoustic kits would get them in trouble. Not everyone has a sound proof room or lives somewhere that banging the shit out of acoustic drums is an option. Don't be a douchebag.

  • @5starburrito Thanks man, for stickin up for me, lol i didnt even keep track of how many views i have lol, 130k!

  • Heel Up

  • this is good man i used to do the double but new it was a triplet and never new how to do it until now man thanks. stay playing too. all these haters wouldnt have the balls to post a video of there own

  • this video is meanigless there is technique there are just simple double bass rythm there was no need to uploead this video

  • In what way, shape or form is this even close to "Chris Adlers" bass drum technique? Other than the fact that you have both feet on your pedals and you're pressing down...I love how you have a close up and everything for probably one of the simplest kick patterns ive ever seen. AND I love the fact that someone needed clarification on this AND a detailed explanation. I'm gonna follow in your footsteps and make an "Instructional" video on how to play that really hard part from Back in Black...

  • elég suta :D

  • buy new pedals!!!!

  • you are officially an IDIOT :D

  • gotta love odd socks !

  • I don't get the point of learning to play a part exactly how the original plays it. Be creative, think up your own parts.

  • i love the odd socks

  • what up with your leg hair? its like parts shaven and parts with hair

  • "im not sure if..."

if your not sure, why the fuck would you try and give 'advice'...

  • Sorry man, but Chris adler does a triplet on the bass drum before the snare hit if you're referring to the Ruin beat, but even if not, in the VAST majority of beats where he uses a kind of trip-gallop sounding beat, it's triplets, which he tends to play (feet obv) RRL. I always play triplets RLR and find it works just as well, so it's all about personal preference and feel. Sometimes he does a steady and slips a triplet in there such as RL-RL-RRL-RL-RL-RL-RRL-RL (coda) etc

  • chris adler dsnt use axis anymore, he uses trick

  • Comment removed

  • @fatboyeslim Chris Adler doesn't have custom pedals. The longboards he has are commercially available.

Also, he made a video showing that he uses his heel for the triple in Ruin, not the double in Blacken The Cursed Sun. I was next to the drum riser when LoG played Burswood Dome and he used single strokes.

  • @fatboyeslim ~ He actually he uses two ways to acheive the double. Heel / toe and a slide technique (which is hitting near the middle of the pedal with your toe, sliding it up a few inches and hitting the top of the pedal for the double). He can do it with both feet. Look up Modern Drummer festival 2005 for a perfect example.

  • @fatboyeslim fail retard

  • Comment removed

  • @fatboyeslim ~ And no he does not and never has used custom pedals. He used Axis longboards and now uses Trick pro 1v pedals....

You fucking idiot....fail on everything you said on here

  • @fatboyeslim Adler uses Axis longboards. Thats not a custom pedal. Go to your local Guitar Center and I guarantee you'll find the exact ones Adler uses.

  • how much did the bass module cost for the electric kit? i cant stand my little one anymore for double bass

  • Your kit sounds like a Michael Jackson drum part lol

  • @birdsmail The roland kit sounds amazing, but those sounds come from shitty speaker and then are recorded with some random mic. Pretty ORLY that it sounds strange?

  • @birdsmail like "the way you make me feel" :)

  • You can't even match your socks....you inbred fuckbag. Get some real drums

  • That's not even close to the way Chris does it. He does heel toe to get the double on the right pedal (which he also does on the left too, sometimes). Your doing with 2 pedals what he does with one.....which is incredibly lame.

Nice unmatching socks and ridiculously gay bass drums.

  • @dubgreen76 haha bud, your thinking of the beat that he does in the song ruin. if you were smart enough to read the description, or even listen to lamb of god, you would know that this is the drum beat in the verse of blacken the cursed sun. second of all chris never does the heel toe with his left foot its always with his right, witch you would also know if you watched his instructional video. you just made a complete and utter fool of yourself. congratz my friend.

  • @TDIOdrummer ~ He actually does it in quite a few songs, not just ruin. Every time he does a triplett or a grace note. (which is in just about every song) He's a left handed drummer playing a right handed kit, so his left foot is really his lead foot. Wouldn't it stand to reason he could also do it with his stronger foot? Retard. He had to work to make his right foot as strong as the left. I've seen him do it with his left foot also. There's just not alot of songs that require it. So eat a cock.

  • @TDIOdrummer ~ I live in Virginia so I've been listening to Lamb of God since they were Burn the Priest. I've seen them 4 times live and have every song they've ever made and every DVD they've ever put out. I've been playing drums for 17 years, prolly longer than you've been alive, so you don't know shit you fucking twat. The point was....you have to 'skip' using 2 pedals, he doesn't. There for you are incredibly lame and suck at drums way too much to be putting yourself on YouTube.

  • you need Oil to your Pedals xD

  • thanks man

  • i think they r quadruplets not triplets cuzzz i do it like that and dont sound rite good video anyways

  • What's in your voice and continuous swallowing... are u fine? hehe

  • missmatched socks FTW!

  • it sounds very close, but i think he goes for 3 hits on the bass, since he 'extensively' uses heel-toe technique while playing... and he does the 3 hits before the snare! heel-toe is really good.. it's an energy saving way of playing.. and like most energy saving things in this world, lets you down on double bass

  • Old stuff.. U should do that with 1 feet like all others :P

  • I thought Chris did a heel toe technique? And by the way it's suppost to be a triplet (:

  • Jacmas is a fucking Jackass, your playing it wrong you fucking douche bag...YOU FUCKING SUCK!!!

  • you're doing it wrong. it's supposed to be tripplets

  • Nice kit. I just wish it didn't have such an artificial sound. Sounds good, not bagging on you, I just think later you should repost on an acoustic set

  • different socks! NICE im liking it.

  • people gotta stop hating on this video. shit, half the "metal" drummers I see on youtube cant even keep time and all they do is record themselves smacking the snare as fast as they can for 15 seconds. who cares about the socks? this is proper technique and that is more productive for your playing than just showing off.

  • @OttoVonGoenne He is showing what it takes to execute the groove. I am not a novice on the drums and it really pisses me off when i hear people dogging others when i know they AREN'T any better. This duder may not have the time signature down or he may not have the technique down all the way but he is trying.

  • @OttoVonGoenne its called blast beating dude and its a hell of a lot harder then these skank beats hes playing

  • @MaggotMuncher96 Your point?

  • @OttoVonGoenne my point is blast beating is a lot harder to keep time with and skank beats are easy as shit

  • @MaggotMuncher96 Who cares? Im not going to say a guy sucks simply because hasn't displayed ONE overdone technique thousands of death metal drummers do many times over one a single record. Who gives a shit? If, he hasn't attained the ability yet then does that define his ENTIRE playing ability as worthless or shit? He's an aspiring drummer. And, through discipline, hard work, and ignoring people putting him down, he will do fine. Like REAL musicians always do. So, suck on that, noob.

  • @alielongacre89 why you so agro faggot? all im saying is that skank beats are easy

  • @OttoVonGoenne its true alot of drummers ive played with (being a guitarist) cant keep solid time!!!!

  • dude go get a pair of socks first then do any video showing them,,, :P

  • Its a Triplet man

  • it sounds like the MJ beat lol ;) but it sounded good keep up the good work

  • They're triplets. They're hard cos chris does that weird foot thing

  • Put some fucking shoes!

  • is this shit serious. if you consider yourslef a drummer, you can play all this shit

  • was there really a need to go buy a second bass drum ?

  • i could of figured this out myself -_-

  • did u see that he has different pair of sucks

  • Crotchet, triplet, crotchet, crotchet. Is no a technique its a sequence of notes. You playing heel up is a technique.

  • I thought his technique was to kick down with his heel?

Or maybe that's just one way to get around it... I used that technique and it works, but I should give this one a whirl. Thanks for the vid!

  • what happens on left pedal/bass drum?

  • cn you please check ot my double bass vid. give me critisiscm lol

  • Thats some harry legs you got ther o.O

  • nice socks.

  • hey just lettin you know the foot pattern in ruin starts with a 4 stroke rough

  • his entire technique isnt bassed solely off this

  • why are your hair all leggy?

  • the triplets he does is a quad stroke, RLRL, with the left foot landing on top of the snare.

it's useful to be able to do a quick triplet like that, and a lot of deathcore bands use it.

it sounds a lot more badass than just two strokes and the snare hit

  • is the first beat like b---bbs-b-b-

  • it's better to have an electric as a practice kit and acoustic for a gig kit, eh?

  • its a triplet so i think hes actually playing the following on the feet:

    R RRL LRL RRL LRL

    I could be wrong though...

  • Bass drums sound diffrent..Fix that and quickly!

    Sounds shit!

    You play well man!

  • Electric Kit = GAY

  • @zilch1823 yeah, but what do you do when you live in an apartment ? you`re obviously aware of the amount of noise made by a cymbal or a snare right ? some people don`t have soundproof rehearsal spaces. I don`t have an electric kit, I`m just saying.

  • @zilch1823 Actually electric kits are made up of (moslty) plastic and rubber, not happiness.

  • @HandPeopleHandPeople That would have been clever around 200 years ago.

  • What pedals are they?

    I'm prety sure they're mapex...

because Im kind of a begginer to the double pedal, I have a non brand double but it's prety crap. I'm thinking of getting somthing such as the ones you have.

    great vid by the way

  • how is ur mapex pedals working out?

  • not how you do it

  • lol @ the haters. Nice work man. Its not to hard to play, but pretty fun.

  • I HAVE THE EXACT SAME PEDALS

  • Check out my drum vid. Uploaded with ipod so a little crappy, but its stil good.

  • dam .. i just started drumming and this quickness is for me like impossible .. xD

  • 4 hits not 3. The fourth as you said lands on the snare.

  • this sucks i should really make a better video but god dammit im not rich enough for that equipment.

  • you fail at drums

  • Keep practising

  • nice shooz....

  • nice socks

  • you're wrong, those fast notes are triplets, not doubles

  • dirty shit

  • your completly wrong dude

your leaving out a key note in the sequence

    your a noob

watch how chris adler himself does it

  • badass

  • thats badass

  • thats badass

  • you can hear the weezing in his voice from the fatness...

  • cant get over your legs ostrich lookin and shit man go TO THE GYM!

  • fellow drummer here dude i roof for a living carry bundles up pitches my legs are real strong and i am fast but ur legs look so out of shape theres fat flappin on the backs of your soon to be cankles?????????????get real...fail

  • you should play four instead of two. you can do it without the axis too. it's fuckin easy nut really catchy

  • You're full of shit, stop playing, kthnx. You're not Chris Adler.

  • Chris Adler uses the "Heel Toe" technique... and he recommends uses Axis pedals for it due to the it's long plat form for you foot.

  • This is nothing like what Chris plays....there is even a video of Chris himself explaining how to play it. Its nothing like this..

  • fail

  • dude you have this ALLLLL WRONG!!!

chris does a fast TRIPLET before the snare in ruin.......hey does it all the time look it up

  • lol um im not tryin 2 b mean but the sound recording made it like beatin on pots and pans, but it prolly sounds way better in person, nice beat though, id never b able 2 do it cuz im a guitarist lol

  • epic song

  • Con el doble pedal de MAPEX poca leche se puede hacer

  • Nice 1 :D

Cheers btw, you got the same kind of pedals as me, they're awesome aren't they? :P

  • Dude ! U naild it ! :D

  • He's not even doing the right beat on the bass. They're quadruplets not triplets.

  • @letsago0 He is doing the right beat. Chris is doing triplets on that verse, not quadruplets. Just search youtube for a Blacken The Cursed Sun drums only video, and you can clearly hear that Chris plays triplets :P

  • This is the "attempted" beat to log's song ruin, and on that song he's playing quadruplets

  • @letsago0 Well the description says that this is Blacken the Cursed Sun, I'm just sayin' :P

  • K, my mistake... (lol)

  • @letsago0 They are triplets. The entire song is in 6/8, so everything is triplets. And by the way, in music there are no such things as quadruplets. They're called sixteenths.

  • the real reason that at least i PREFER the acoustics over the electronics is that the electronic drums have a much more difficult time picking up small, subtle accents and nuances that you hear much clearer on an acoustic..but thats a personal preference i love playing electronic sets too they definitely have a different feel and so you cant just shun them, because they have their own unique appeals and advantages. either way, a drum set it a drum set

  • I find all this acoustic vs electric drum thing retarded.. honestly, whats wrong with electric drums? do you hate on electric guitars aswell? electric basses? I mean cmon..

  • it's time you washed your socks

  • your socks dont match o:

    lol,

    thats beside the point though.

  • @sammiebearx lmao

  • @sammiebearx a sock is a sock

  • Not good rythm feeling

  • You can get awsome electric kits. Mabye if he did have an acoustic kit he would get shit from neighbours. Anyway hey Niel Pert has electronic drums in his kit. So yeah electric is as good as acoustic

  • Check out my new vid on my '68 Ludwigs :)

  • @jacmas OMG vintage LUDWIGS... CREAMS PANTS... I have a 94' Pearl Export Series with Purple shells (:

  • dude i can say that i had a lot of different drum kits acoustic and electronic

and it doesn't matter how much is e-kit cheapest acoustic kit will be much better because it is a natural instrument u can do a lot of different things on it what u cannot on e-kit

    for example

u have theme where u should play ride bell

of course u can just change one of the cymbals on it but personally i find it completely non-humanly

drummer should be drummer and play best music with best kit - acoustic kit.

  • @Drummeallnight

I play an acoustic drum set.

But metal wouldn't exist with out electronics.

    No distortion = No brutality.

I know that is not completely related to what you said, but still.

  • @Drummeallnight

You have no idea what you are talking about. A huge part of drumming comes from muscle memory so you can get some great practice from an electric kit. Secondly, these kits are designed to replicate the feel of an acoustic kit and they do so just nicely. Finally have you ever thought that not all people have the luxury of owning a loud acoustic kit? I taught myself 90% of what I know from playing electric in a house share in a block of flats.

    "Natural Instrument" lol.

  • @Drummeallnight you have to understand that one of the main reasons people use electric kits is due to the fact that they need to keep the volume low. When I practice with my band we have the drummer jump on the electric kit just so we can keep levels lower. Things are heard more clearly. Acoustic kits are definitely my preference but not everyone has that luxury.

  • @thunderstruck3167 why does it matter that neil peart has electronic drums, does that make them the best thing in the galaxy?

  • @thunderstruck3167 *Neil Peart

  • @thunderstruck3167

but you can't get nearly as many sounds out of an electronic drum. sure they have their place, but you can do so much more on a real drum.

  • @thunderstruck3167 neil pert has probably the most famous drum set of all time. its got wind chimes, wood blocks, and cowbells, and it goes all around him.

  • @thunderstruck3167 true, but nothing beats the feel of an acoustic kit

  • @thunderstruck3167 the reason most drummers dont have them is cause they are soooo expensive to get something with amazing quality that wont break. like i bought one that was a grand and broke in months. so i had to replace it 3 times afterwards. so if you want a good acoustic kit go with roland. thats where i screwed up cause i didnt lol. but the best electric kit is a roland td20. its about 6 grand. and with that money most drummers would rather go for a kickass acoustic kit than elect

  • practice more cause this shit sucks ball bags

  • two diff socks

  • if you think electronic kits are for fags check out PolishDrummer93 then talk.
