If you pause at 2:55 the hips have not cleared at impact.The ball is clearly struck and then the momentum of the swing turns the front hip left.This is a misconception made by watching pros hit a ball at full speed.Jone's swing is quite simple - He creates solid angles which store tremendous amounts of power and he simply unloads his left hand so that the handle has forward lean and his left hand is straight in relation to the arm and shaft and his right wrist is slightly bent.
