  • Is this supposed to be a move meant for Justin Beiber to fend off retarded schoolgirls??... Because, seriously, I can't imagine any other scenario where a person would be "attacked" in this manner.

Please find some sparring partners from different martial arts that use strikes (whether punches or kicks) or even grapplers, and show how you defended against them in your friendly sparring matches.

I know you got mad Aikido skills, so I hope to see them put to better use. Thank you.

  • Honestly when I see videos like this it makes me want to spar with the people in the video. Just from the video it doesn't look so great that's why I would love to spar with an Aikido artist so I can experience its effectiveness in action.

  • GAY

  • jsut started aikido. won't lie, thought it was a bit crappy lookign at videos, like "yeah what posers".. However now i have attended classes i know different. i think it was when the little short girl in the class had me thrown then pinned to the floor i realised hmm... maybe something to this aikido buisness lol. great art

  • Im doing aikido for 6 months. is amazing !. this is really effective. with some years of practic you can protect your self very very good !.

  • Aikido is Ideal for multipul attackers! Bjj, kenpo, boxing, muay tai, kickboxing, taekwondo,Judo, all useless fighting more than one person.bjj is a great style if ur fighting one person. Ideal for multipul attackers.. AIKIDO, Kendo, JUIJITSU, jeet kun do , kung fu, wushu.

  • @MrJudo15 Check out Bujinkan.

  • @MrJudo15 Ideal for multiple attackers Muay Boran, Ninjitsu, and Krav Maga.

  • The poster blocked me for this post. Read it.

Aikido like any good scam, all the excuses are in place.

    1. We can't prove it works. (not allowed)

    2. If you don't think it works, you don't know as much as us (conceited to say the least)

    3. It actually offers a lot spiritually. (how does one measure that?)

    4. We can't spar. We're too deadly.

    5. If you study it and get ass handed to you, you didn't study enough. It takes 20 years to become good. Cheque or cash payments are fine.

    Suckers.

  • lol@imitchellgill

I never saw such display of ignoance before. And we talk about youtube here, that say a lot.

    1. Aiki is use in every modern fighting system.

    2. Its true, if something work(see 1.) and you dont know it, it because you dont know shit.

    3. It is Budo.

    4. Randori is sparing. Also some branch do sparing one on one.

    5. Like in everything, the more you train the better you are.

I know this and i dont even train in Aikido. You are a idiot that didnt do basic reseach before commenting.

  • 1. Wow Aikido is responsible for all fighting systems? Dream on!

    2. Never seen Aikido in a real fight. Never in sport, or any proof it works. Period!

    3. It is Bunko

    4. I've seen the "sparring" no sale. Far more demonstrations with willing victims. I've been Uke. Shitty practice.

    5. And if it doesn't work, you didn't train enough. Circular argument.

I know you don't train in Aikido. You're a nobody that has a ton of fantasy martial arts in your favorites. Keep your MA fantasies.

  • I never said aikido was responsible for all the modern fighting system. i said Aiki is use in all those system. If you want to exapand your training and leurn how to better use aiki, aikido is abviously the best choice.

If you dont know the difference between aiki and aikido you are not qualified to comment.

  • Well, thanks for the laugh. You call me a douche and ignorant and go on to prove yourself both. Very funny! Where to start..

    1. Uke is the victim in that they attack the tori and fail. They take the fall. I'm right. Do your homework.

    2. Aiki is NOT a term that is used in all systems. It's just not. Look up the definition in whatever language you speak.

    3. The only one not qualified to comment is you! LOL! You haven't trained in Aikido OR BJJ... I've done both. I've earned the right .

  • Sparring in all your idealized martial art is always two parthers cooperatively facing each other, adopting the same stance, exchanging strike. What i see here is two willing brawler. In aikido uke dont resit because it is pointless. Tori is the one not willing, he turn, avoid the stirke and bring the uke down.

There is no "victimes" in the practice of aikido. What you call the victime is the tori, not the uke.

  • You where either in a shitty shcool. Or no one trusted you respected them enough to risk letting you apply the technique on them. You are probaly the kind of douche who would injure his partner to make a point. ...well either that or a angry 14 year old.

    Have a nice fucking day,

    TTT

  • I've never hurt a training partner. Not once. Not in a year of Aikido and a couple in BJJ.

Since your English is pathetic, I'll communicate like you.

you cyberbuly and make mean on utube. you bad. you dont now how to hit a person profile and see age. you bad.

Hey, do what I did. Take Aikido for a year, try to apply it to real conflict. When it fails take BJJ. Then tell me if you agree or don't. Since you have not set foot in an Aikido school, you don't know anything. obviously

  • By the way, your English is brutal. I hope you speak French because those are the two official languages of Canada.

I think you SHOULD train in Aikido. It needs suckers and you are clearly one of them. Why would ANYONE go for that fantasy when there are so many proven Martial Arts willing to put their technique and philosophy to the test? Judo, Muay Thai, BJJ, JJ, Boxing, Wrestling, Sambo, just to name a few.

If you want self-defence don't touch it!

  • Ushiro Katadori ikkyo ura

  • In mma the only thing there doing is hitting and kicking in aikido every hit has a weak point i study aikido for some time now and it made me a better person and when the time to fight comes i always have them on the floor with pain all over them

It should only be for self defense a mma fighter wont make t with a Aikido guy

  • @13dojokid so you really think that a profsessional aikoda fighter would win against a mma fighter from UFC, why do you think it's called the ultimate fighting championship? MMA it's not just som wild sport were you punch and kick wildly, it's actually alot of techniques taken form mostly Thaiboxing and Brazillian Jujitsu. Aikido is a selfdefence sport where you mostly use different techniques from different positions, that is very usefull in street fighting and against inexperienced fighters.

  • @13dojokid it depends, every martial art has a weak point, in the case of aikido is that if you make a mistake you are lost, and the people of mma also knows how to do sumisions, arm bars, or break fingers because they practice more than one martial art including AIKIDO thats why its called mma and they even have more technics than someone who practice only one style, the problem is that the rules of mma doesnt let the fighters to do some technics, so dont underestimate the power of mma

  • @13dojokid dont underastemate certain mma fighters

  • @13dojokid

youre wrong. aikido is a great art-if it is trained properly. but you must also know that MMA pros are great athletes- and they train a lot of many art. aikido couldnt break that easily nothing. if you know the line from "real aikido"- Morihei Aikido than you would understand that aikido doesnt work in attack but only in defense....

  • cool

  • what happen wend he lets go and he is not grabbing or putting hes arms out to be grab. i gest is like every akido agaist mma fight akido guy get his ass beat.

  • if uke loose the contact, tori is free for break his face

  • What happens if the attack changes? Well the response changes in kind.

  • AWESOME!

    -William-

  • a bit agressive!

  • Very nice, though, in the end of it, i suggest sliding your left foot back to keep momentum, also to be sure he doesn't grab your foot. I know your a master in this style (Or close to it) its just my suggestion.

  • Enigma!
