He died cliff diving. He'd tie climbing ropes to his feet and jump from the tops of mountains.

But on his last jump, the ropes tangled and friction caused them to melt. :/

He definitely is one of the best and stupidest climbers i've encountered. I work on communication towers for a living and wouldn't imagine going up with no harness or ppe. What a nut! LOL
