You can sell stuff back to anyone with a store, but I'm not sure if they will give you the same amount of money you had initially spent on the item.

Try to compare items, although you'll need to bring along the person who has the item that you want to compare it to, otherwise don't buy it.

I went the whole game without buying anything, just put a ton of points into regenerating health, assault rifles and charm, in the end when you get the best assault rifles you can take out almost anything in a few shots when you are spraying from the hip :)

in the end i just Sprayed all day everyday. I still had to take cover when Evil biotics appeared :(
