I don't see why the local black out thing is such a problem. Just tune into the local channel on your tv. If you don't have cable, go to a local pub or sports bar. Not that difficult. If you have Direct tv or Time warner, and you don't travel a lot, I'd suggest just purchasing the MLB package. But MLB.tv is great. If you have a good computer (I use a mac), and a good connection, it's worth the price.

MLB.TV sucks! Can't see any home games -all blacked out. MLB won't give refunds.
