A least an America is finally admitting they have trampled on the lands of indigenous people. So, why don't they give back the United States and come home to Europe? And I don't mean on a jumbo jet like they do for these protests. I mean, why don't the campaign for all the non indigenous people to leave the US? I think they don't because lauding the indigenous people rights is just a hypocritical PR stunt and for all their talk the like living on the indigenous peoples lands.
The problem here is that all of these green protests will allow the IMF to impose a world tax on carbon emissions. This won't help. Ask yourself: "Self, why isn't government asking everyone on the planet to plant something to balance the carbon weight?".
Then reply to self, "Because that is not the main objective here."
Well, yes. But planting trees in itself can't offset carbon quickly enough anyhow. Too much in the atmosphere already, combined with deforestation. Bioremediation of atmospheric carbon is complicated. It still might be accomplished, yes, if indeed they had a more dynamic social objective, rather than an economic one.
Jeez these are some nice video cameras!
